Good Morning guys!

Yesterday was a total fog day, I got a lot accomplished but I pretty much felt like I was moving through soup. Not bad, just kind of an ever present feeling of being tired. I've also hit the stinky stage - I stink, my breath stinks.....my hubby says he can't tell but I can, I smell sweet and weird. I think this is normal....ketosis? The scale is finally moving, and I know the funky smell is temporary.

Accountability: Still 100% on liquids for 8 more days, believe me I'm counting them. I made both my protein and liquid goals yesterday, ending up at 115g of protein, and 126oz of fluids. I have a steel-walled growler that measures 64oz, so I filled that up in the morning and I drink from it all day long. Anything else I drink above and beyond that is like a bonus.

QOTD: I have a favorite towel that I've had since college, and it's held up remarkably well. I've always liked it because it's actually big enough to go around me. We just got some new fluffy towels that feel a lot better so I may end up abandoning 'old green' once I shrink down some!

Hang in there. It sounds like you are doing great even though you are dragging. I took me a few weeks to perk up but now I have all kinds of energy. Just keep hydrated and keep walking and things will pass. Congrats on your accomplishments!

Glad to hear you and Amy are both doing better Daisy. My boxer Lily gave us a scare and a trip to the vet yesterday. Hubby and I were about 20 minutes away from home at a local food pantry helping unpack a delivery truck when I got a call from the youngest who was home for lunch. Apparently a wasp or bee got in the house and stung Lily. Most likely she tried to bite it because she had raised welts all over her chest, face, mouth and even her eyes were swelling shut. Son gave her benadryl and we hurried home to take her to the vet for a prednisone shot. She's totally fine today and has already done 5k with me this am. We'll also do another mile after supper. Accountability yesterday no extra snacks but switched to steak for supper instead of ham and beans. QOTD no favorite towel here. Post op 4 years 10 months and weight at 118.2 today. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz tuna 1/2 c green beans D 1 c ham and beans S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goals!

It was lucky the youngest came home from work for lunch. She's really reactive to bug bites even biting flies and instantly gets welts but this was the worst episode. Luckily I keep benadryl at home and in the camper just in case!
