Name this pain
Hello!
i have done searches on this pain but can't find it in someone as far out from surgery as I am. I am 10 months out. I have a very sharp, burning pain when I bend over. It started yesterday. Yesterday it only hurt if I bent over. Today it is mildly achy all the time. It is left of my belly button. I can't feel anything there when I poke around. The pain feels very superficial, yet it doesn't hurt when I prod around. Weird.

Well, we're almost in the same boat!! I'm 9 months 3 weeks out. Had an episode of upper abd. pain so severe I passed out and needed 911 to the ER. My liver enzymes and WBC are elevated.
I would suggest contacting your surgeon, I did. Had an Abdominal ultrasound done today, and I'm awaiting the dates for an upper and lower "scope".
My pain had been gnawing/achy in the upper abd. and mid back to r shoulder blade area until today. the pressing in of my abd. with the u/s wand had set something off. :(
Do you still have your gall bladder?? Mine's out.
Good luck and run this by your surgeon!

"Name This Pain" would be a good name for a bariatric themed game show.
