I am finally home.
10 days in the hospital and I am finally home. What a ride. It was horrible. But I'm out. I still have 2 drains in and a nurse that will be coming to flush them and change bandages etc. If I had know I would be going through all of this I would have opted out of the surgery to begin with. I'm just scared of the "what next" feeling. But I serve a gracious and mighty God and I know he will see me through this journey. Thank you all for the well wishes.
Hi. This was after I was released from my surgery. I was having pains but they dismissed a few times then said it was a blood clot but I was still in pain. Went again and they found I was leaking and developed a large abcess. Got a drain but wasn't getting any better. Found another abcess lower down and then I was getting better when they put the drain in. My bp was down to 88/64 heart rate fluctuated between 130s to 140s so I and to stay until it got "normal". I just wi**** was caught sooner. But I'm happy.
That's the problem I'm having. I can't keep the protein shakes in or even the unflavored ones. It just makes me gag. I'm barely getting water in. Saw doc today he says try soft solids and see if that helps. So I'm just gonna try just a tad bit tomorrow and hopefully it will help. My taste buds are out of wack lol.
