Surgery
I leaked fluid from my belly button for about 8 days. It stopped right after I had my JP drain removed. Not sure if that was a coincidence or not.
It was nasty. I used to tape paper towels to my stomach because it was soaking through my shirts. Gauze wasn't cutting it.
I drained from one of my incisions for a long time. Mine was a clearish yellow tint. I saw the surgeon at the time and it was normal one of my stitches had opened up and that is why I was draining. I didn't have drains either.

Happy Surgery-Over. It helps the medical team learn what common patient concerns are so good job calling with questions. Walking seems to be a favorite way to alleviate pain associated with gas. It might help ease your mind if you monitor your temperature; a rise in body temperature might signal an infection is brewing.
For the gas, I suggest walking as much as possible. It will help keep things moving.
As far as the leaking, I did leak for a few days and my surgeon wasn't concerned.
