Hi everyone,

It was a busy but great weekend!

Accountibility : I stayed on plan all weekend but had a very small pouch day yesterday and only ate 2 small meals and small snack. But yet I'm up a lb today.

B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast fast sausage, 1/2 slice cheese

L: not feeling very hungry again so not sure what the rest of the day will bring for eating but it will be protein.

Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!

Hi everyone!

I missed posting on Friday... my life... is STILL... a chaotic mess. We leave this evening for a quick sleepover in Dallas, and off in the morning for Austin and my husband's surgery. I'm a nervous stinking wreck between his surgery and my fate at my job. I just keep breathing and trying to absorb as much of it as I can. :::Breath:::

Accountability: My eating has been chaotic as well, but I'm making the best choices I can. We had a gathering at our house Saturday evening, a Native American blessing of sorts for hubs, and it was potluck. I made shredded beef and coleslaw and bought buns for everyone else. I did good and forwent the buns, but I did taste a plethora of things, including the homemade red velvet cake someone brought... and Irish cream in my coffee. Woke up at 5am Sunday with horrible stomach pains... go figure. Yesterday was the Pride Parade here in OKC, and my son marched with his new youth group. I did grab a Cuban sandwich from one of the food trucks, had a bite of the bread, but really only ate the pork/ham out of the center... that got stuck, so for the rest of the night I was straining to get enough water in to keep hydrated. No fun. Even today I struggled with breakfast and couldn't eat it all, and I still feel full and still struggling with water. Sigh.

QOTD: Funnel cake, hands down! And a turkey leg, but I had that at the State Fair this year, post WLS, with no guilt. Turkey legs rock! Gina, we had that fried butter here too this year! That doesn't even sound good to me! Ick.

Weight this morning 136.6 Not sure if that's because I indeed am dehydrated, or all of the walking/packing at the aunt's house, etc I did all weekend, but I'll take it! Another new number!

The comments about my weight are really rolling in now "Oh you're so thin!" "So Tiny" "Those shorts must be a size zero!" *** no they're an 8 folks) Leave me alone! It's hard enough without all the comments!!

Edited to add that my menu, while crazy, is good!

B: 3 ounces of shredded beef

L: I have 3ounces of a cheeseburger in there, not yet eaten

D: No idea, we'll be on the road... probably a couple of wings from the place we stop at on our way to Dallas

S: When we get to cousin's house, she's planning on 'snacks'... I hope there's cheese there! I'll have pork rinds with me, and a few protein bars... what I really need is to work on the water today!

My son and I after I caught up with him after the parade! I actually ran for several blocks trying to get his attention yesterday, NSV!

And they boy he walked with yesterday during the parade... they had a 'date' today to go see a movie... his first date!

OMG yay his first date! I am so happy and excited for him! This is awesome :) (and don't you think back just a year ago and how impossible it would have been to conceive of "running a few blocks"???)

Hello Daisy and menu friends!

Accountability: I was a wild child this weekend. I didn't have terribly high calorie days, I just didn't get in my protein because of poor food choices.

QOTD: funnel cakes for the win!

3 mth post RNY/173lbs/ Weightloss stage

B- Syntrax Lemonade protein powder

MS - NA

L- Gyro. I ate one bite of "all of it" then picked out the meat.

AS- probably nothing as even the thought of food is making me feel ill

D- Cottage cheese

ES- Protein shake after my "run" (I run so slowly i have to use air quotes)

Total Calories 521, Protein 80, Carbs 31, Sugar 4, Fat 8

The scale finally moved again, down another two pounds.

I had a NSV this weekend, I ran two miles non-stop and I broke my painfully slow pace by a full minute. I'm now running a blazing 16minute, 30 second mile! That's right, most brisk walkers pass me while I'm running. I've never been a runner, even as a skinny active kid I wasn't a runner. I can't believe I managed to jog for two full miles! I have a mini Triathlon that I'm training for, so running a 5K by the end of September is a real goal, along with the swimming part which I'll start training for this week.
