I love the physical therapist, but this was just one of the workers/ helper bees. I don't know where the breakdown in communication happened. But that was part of why I called, because he really needed to know how bad it was. I go back this morning. I had to medicate all day I tried to stay away from the Oxsee when I could but I Had to take it for sleep. So we will see how the day unfolds

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Sorry you and Amy are still not feeling well. After I posted yesterday John texted me that Ruppert woke him up early by barking and he had had a tummy-ache overnight too (which he tried to settle by eating his dog pillow in his crate). When he ran outside he immediately starting eating grass so he could throw up. Our poor fur-babies. Hope the vet can figure out the cause for Amy's this weekend. I hope increasing your fluid today helps your headache feel a little bit better.

QOTD: My slippery slope is bakery goods (baked goods! Breads, cakes, cinnamon rolls, donuts....you name it). I still assume I would dump from them so I have been able to stay away from those foods (yes, I have chose not to test it yet at almost 3 years out). I occasionally will find a recipe and bake a low-carb baked good but have a hard time not over indulging since it's "healthy" so I don't make them often.

Time since surgery: 2 years, 10 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: SF latte, homemade Greek yogurt with strawberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, 2 Brazil nuts and Buddig beef pack

D: Spaghetti squash casserole with a side salad (with Panera poppy seed dressing) and SF Jello with cool-whip

E: 6 miles on the treadmill this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1066 Protein:115 Carbs:89 Fat:30

Have a great one!

That's awesome that you "assume you'll dump". I know that I do not dump! So I can have a bite if I want too. The good thing for me is that sweets were never my thing. Take it or leave it. Now salty crunchy goodness, yes. But again, I can say no....I don't know how I got to be the size I did. Maybe just because I was lazy....

That is so awesome that you have stayed away from those foods!! I am hoping at 3 years I can say the same. I'm 7 months and counting!

I saw a recipe recently for a spaghetti squash casserole and it looked delicious. I'm making it this weekend.

I just call mine that because I couldn't think of a better name when I started making it. Maybe I should call it "spaghetti squash chicken cheesy Alfredo melty goodness"'instead :)

That definitely should be the name of the stuff you make.... because that's exactly what it is! And I need to make it again!

I'm avoiding sugar for as long as I can, but for the opposite reason. I'm very confident I won't dump, and I don't want that confirmed hahaha

Hello everyone! Today is going to be fun...I have a colonoscopy scheduled tomorrow so today is clear liquids. My fat brain is messing with me...I am never hungry in the morning, but because I can't have anything I woke up wanting to eat everything!

Accountability: I did good yesterday since all I could have was soups. Hopefully, after all this, I'll drop a pound or two!
