What's on your Menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Cheetos are my nemesis... I totally understand!
Confession time... yesterday in the airport on the way home, I bought one of those tiny bags (the ones that come in the variety packs here in the states?) in Cancun... I sat on the plane by myself, next to some other person's kids, and ate the bag... I could barely contain myself!
That's the first bag of cheetos I've bought since surgery... and likely won't be buying more anytime soon! I was tempted to lick the bag!

I'm sorry that you (and your dog) still aren't feeling well. I hope working today isn't too tough.
QOTD: Donuts or cinnamon rolls. VERY slippery slope (I used to hide them in the closet and binge eat them).
I did okay yesterday on eating except for a not-worth-i****ery margarita with dinner. But I only ate the insides of my chicken taco so not too bad from that perspective. 6 days of vacation left, then it is back to reality!
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: leftover taco insides
D: ? (out to dinner)

Good morning Daisy and everyone!
Been so busy here with projects and getting ready to bring my Mom up for a visit. I had to go to the dr yesterday and get a cortisone shot in my left knee. It has been really giving me trouble that last few weeks. My last shot was about 1 1/2 years ago, so it had worked really well for me. I have arthritis in every joint I my body. Daisy, I hope your fur baby feels better soon.
QOTD: I used to love chocolate cake...or pretty much any cake with lots of frosting but I dump on sugar now so I don't get tempted anymore. I loved chocolate too.
Menu:
Breakfast: Ham, egg and cheese scramble.
Lunch: 2 Buffalo style chicken roll ups with Swiss cheese.
Dinner: Grilled chicken from the grill.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
Daisy, I'm so sorry you and Amy are both still sick! You are both in my prayers.
Accountability: I ate the last small slice of cheesecake from my birthday last night so it is gone and out of the house now. I counted in the calories from cheesecake in my fitness pal and adjusted the rest of my eating to accommodate it.
QOTD: Yes, Cheetos are a slippery slope and also donuts or cinnamon rolls. I had some cheese balls in the house a while back and I couldn't stop myself from eating too many of them. I have NOT had a donut or a cinnamon roll since surgery and I won't because I know those would be a very slippery slope.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, Greek yogurt
L: beef pot roast
D: taco meat, cheese, sour cream
S: light n fit Greek yogurt
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a great day everyone!

Quick one for me. It is raining cats and dogs all night and still raining. I hope it gets it out of it's system and we can have a good weekend. We are leaving after work for camping and I'm off tomorrow.
I'm also overrun with lettuce and romaine lettuce. I'm just going to start giving it away, there is NO way i can eat it all and I don't think it freezes well. I could throw some in with some broth and make some stew I suppose and use it that way.
Accountability: Last night I had a jello with some cottage cheese on top and a carbmaster yogurt oh and 50 calories of powdered PB. Apparently that worked for me. No crazy before bed eating so I'm a happy girl. Weight steady. OH extra question- I forgot, trigger foods: marshmallows, chocolate, PEANUT BUTTER, donuts, pork rinds, ice cream, funnel cakes, waffles, pancakes, whipped cream, steamed dumplings, just cooked spaghetti noodles. Those are the biggies. the only ones I have eaten 'more' than I should is pork rinds, peanut butter and whipped cream. The rest I can have one or two bites and stop. I think that is interesting. the problem i find is that sometimes I JUST want those two bites and if I order at a restaurant, I feel obligated to eat it and can't let it go to waste so I usually just don't go there. NOW if a grocery store is doing a 'sample' I will eat that because it is controlled and they might look at me strangely if i take more than 1.
Today's menu:
I think I'm going to do a protein cake with yogurt like yesterday, it was really yummy.
decaf/regular, almond milk
green beans/romaine in something
not sure on rest of menu as we will be leaving to go camp.
Exercise: getting ready to camp so will be quite active.
There will be fishing involved this weekend and hopefully some kayaking/pool swimming!!

Happy Thursday! 3 out of 6 schools ended yesterday and I am breathing a HUGE sigh of relief. I've said it before and I will say it again...it is a lot easier to run schools without all those pesky kids and teachers in it ;) Today I get to go and get dirty! I am going to a school that closed yesterday and I will be sorting a million books in a library and trying to get it all cleaned out. I love days like this when I can ignore the email and get active.
QOTD: I feel like everything is a trigger for me right now, but traditionally, I just can't ignore chocolate or potato chips.
Accountability: Do I really have to admit it???? I was good at the work breakfast and ignored the pastries and cinnamon rolls. But I forgot about my co-worker's wedding shower at lunch and I had a piece of carrot cake. I totally dumped--heart racing, sweating and soooo nauseous. Blergh. I didn't have most of what I brought for the rest of the day because I felt so yucky. I am up a pound this morning--officially above my comfort range.
