Have a good day resting with the pups, hope both you and Amy feel better
Yesterday was gloriously beautiful, and some sunshine is good for your soul. Felt so much better mentally. Working on version 1.0 of brace that will work in the pool. Did go in and float around a little.
Again glorious . Did too much because I'm exhausted and in pain today but I enjoyed every minute
Accountability: since I am more than willing to take whatever food people are willing to offer me, as cooking is a chore with one hand. My Colombian girlfriend texted and said she was making paella, did I want some? The answer of course was hell yeah! Now it was very delicious it didn't have as much meat in it as I was expecting so I only ate half the portion she gave me an added some shrimp to it. But I was up on the scale like 2 pounds today, so I think it's a combination of that and I ate lox/smoke salmon which is very salty. Fluctuations. They happen. Still not happy with the night eating, I'm still in search of that perfect night snack routine. At least for the time being. Calories for the day were good but carbs were definitely high
B: coffee latte with MCT oil/MiraLAX, second coffee latte no extras, and orange, 2 baby Bell cheeses
L: Cobb salad with 2 ounces turkey, bacon, 2 tablespoons shredded cheese, HB egg
D: steak, stirfry veggies, maybe a little potato that's left
S: protein drink TBD, Unknown after that
ex: PT

Yeah go ahead and give your friend my number.
Those 2 pounds are not eating pounds you know that right? We all move up and down during the day. It's fluid and your healing so it's really gonna jump around. Also isn't really hot there?
I'm a lazy cook but I did make something good today. Four Boneless skinless chicken thighs from the butcher that I just opened the bag and dropped it and a box of all ready cut up vegetables (thanks safeway) and a can of tomatoes (an Oxyford comma disaster I think)into a crockpot.
Good and definitely a one armed meal.
There was no way I was turning down paella. And I really wasn't worried about the fluctuation it just was what it was. I'd love that you gave me a one armed recipe

Happy Wednesday!
I don't know why but I'm feeling extremely anxious and panicked today. Is that something anyone else has/had gone through post op? 6 months out and I feel like the last three have been the hardest. Just wondering.
accountibility: Oh boy... I've been awful lately. Today is the day that I get myself back on track. I did have a "large" salad with shrimp last night though so I'm at least making mostly good choices. Today is the day though! Back to tracking and kicking the extras out of my menu.
B: syntrax shake
L: Syntrax shake
S: tiny bit of creamy almond butter
D: chicken maybe with a little salad
V: Patches
E: started Physical Therapy so I'm nervous to do too much but I plan to at least walk the dogs with Zach.
Have a great day, everybody! It feels good to be back :)
