What's on your Menu Today (Wednesday) RNYers?
I did kundalini for a few years - in fact it was the first style of yoga I did, and it was all I did during my early years of yoga. I liked some of the kriyas (asanas) at the time, but not all, though. Some of them were pretty hard or just....odd. After finally being exposed to some other styles of yoga a few years later, I realized I wasn't really crazy about kundalini. I haven't done it in a long time. It's really different than most of the other styles! I always tell people who haven't done it to at least give it a try, though - some people really like it.

Accountability: Yesterday I ate a 1/2 of a brownie that had fresh ginger baked inside. OMG, y'all. There was a HUGE pan of them at the office, and I was the only one there. There was a time in my life that I would have eaten all of them, so even though I am mad at myself for having half, it was still sort of a win? Well, no, I guess not...that was my fat-girl brain taking, again. Please ignore her. Today our office is having a big breakfast catered by a locally famous pastry company called Flour. I RSVP'd "no" for some accountability. I will not eat the gooey cinnamon bun. I will not eat the gooey cinnamon bun!
Today I have a really long day. I walked out the door by 6am this morning, was at my desk by 7:30am and have back to back meetings until 4:30pm with no break. Then tonight we have an end of the year dinner for our principals from 6 - 8. I won't be home until after 9:30pm. UGH.

Vitamins: Patches on (D3, Multi & Iron)

You are doing great. Having stuff around us that we shouldn't eat. Well it is okay if we plan it. But a whole tray of brownies and being by yourself was a huge NSV.
It is not easy when there is crap all around us.
I had to have a sermona drained yesterday. I had a funeral. I will say at the funeral there was a ton of cookies and cakes. It was someone who passed away who was in my AA family.
I did eat a piece of a cookie and a bite of cake. I find it funny well not really funny. That when I am feeling ill I want to eat stuff I am not supposed to.
The inner child that gets comfort when not feeling well comes out. I guess.
My main focus of my day is making sure I stay hydrated.
B:Egg white sandwich from Wawa and coffee. I am trying to learn to drink it without cream to save calories. I didn't realize how many can be just poured in my cup.
L:Hard boiled egg and some sugar free pickles
D:Filet mignon
S:Coffee and make sure I am getting enough fluids.

I know: I'm not sure I could resist cinnamon buns if they looked right at me! I avoid going near any Cinnabon shops!
