What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Two things every time I see you mention how long you're out from surgery, I forget how close are surgery dates were mine was a little before yours July 23, 2014.
Second I have to say your egg salad with cottage cheese brings back bad memories. My mother was one of the original weigh****chers back in the day when Hean Nidetch was still running in and you got a little pin with real diamonds in it for every 10 pounds you lost and I was an overweight kid and so I was on de facto weigh****chers and my mother would send me to school with a tuna fish sandwich and the tuna was mixed with cottage cheese. It w was edible, barely to a maybe nine-year-old and was totally humiliating to sit there with the other kids and be eating that. Of course if I tried it again now I might think it was good but then it was just horrifying

Can you believe it's almost been 3 years!?! Crazy.
I definitely understand why the cottage cheese egg salad would bring back bad memories. I wasn't sure I would like the egg salad this way..but as you can see I do!! It's been working well since it's been so hot I don't really want anything too warm or heavy like some of my go-to's like turkey burger, chile lime burgers and stuff.
Honestly there's a visual thing too, you know eggs have white in them so the cottage cheese kind of blends in. But tuna with white lumps in them not as appetizing looking no matter what the taste is

Just a quick post this morning as I'm crazy busy trying to get EVERYTHING done before I go on vacation- that is of course not going to happen, but as long as I get the most important ones done.
Went over to the new house last night and did some cleaning. My dad is an electrician so he looked over the wiring and said everything looks pretty good - although there is a little bit of monkey business (his words) that he will fix once we're in. We get the keys Friday morning, so Charles and I will head over there right away to finish up the cleaning and then we can get started on moving stuff in.
Today is my last day at wor****il next Wednesday and I'm so glad I took the time. Charles didn't want me to use up my vacation but I don't know how else I would get everything done.
Menu today- same old, same old lol
B: Protein Shake
L; Salad Bar from work- Like InsertFitness, I can get lunch there with lots of good protein options for under $3.00 so sometimes it is just worth it. I hope the salad bar at the new location will be just as good- yes, not only are we moving houses, but in 2 weeks, my office will be moving. So many changes this year, but I'm looking at all of them as positives
D: I may take the advice of a good friend (Here's to you Daisy!) and have cold cuts and cheese for supper.
Accountability- Supper last night was a barbecued burger without the bun, stayed on plan.... for which I was rewarded with a .1 lb loss lol.
Exercise- yesterday ended up being cleaning the house. Today will hopefully be the last episode of Shaun Week. And packing, packing and more packing.
Weight today 209.1
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Daisy and OH peeps! Some NSV - We are having a heat wave and I cannot get over how much more tolerable it is after losing 100 pounds! Also at the beach the other day, I realized how it was so easy it was to walk on dry sand. I used to hate it! I would struggle and bust out in a sweat immediately while huffing and puffing to get through it. Ah, good stuff. However - there is one thing that has started that I'm not happy about - hair loss, BOO! For the last 2 weeks-ish -nothing in the shower, but there is SO much hair on the brush and I am finding my hair everywhere. I know this is par for the course and I am dealing with it. I have a TON of very long wavy hair, so I am not running for the salon just yet but if it gets real thin, I will. Maybe try a new fun style - silver lining!
Accountability - One of my staff gave me a bag of the most perfect avocados I've ever seen. So, dinner last night was a guacamole and pork rinds instead of tri tip. I basically had fat for dinner, lol! My protein was low, but I was down a pound this am.
7 mo tomorrow! 204 this am
b- coffee w/heavy cream and splenda, hot link sausage
l-chicken thigh
d-tri tip
v/l - on track
e-none today - meeting with family at dad's home after work
Have a great day all!
