I'm sorry your sleep was not good last night!

My weight is back down to what it was when we arrived on vacation (after being up 2 pounds). Weird but I'll take it. Regardless I've decided to stop stressing over dinner time eating while on vacation because I'm going to do my own CAMAW/AMAW when I return home to get back on track. Having a plan makes me feel much more in control. In the meantime, I eat my usual meals during the day, and go for high-protein choices at night without overfilling my tummy. I am drinking some wine and usually have a few bites of DH's dessert.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: ? (Out to dinner)

Good morning all!

I was having a "meh" day for food yesterday, didn't even finish what I had planned to eat. Strange how a day like that can follow a day where I'm mentally scanning the cupboards and arguing with myself about food choices.

6+ months post op

B- coffee w/ 1/2 chocolate premier

L- chicken breast, blueberries

D- pork tenderloin

S- not sure... I'm losing interest in my later in the day coffees

Good morning Daisy and menu friends! Still cloudy and miserable here, I need sun ! LOL. Today will mark the 4 month Anniversary at my new job. Yay!

Accountability - I had [lanned for 962 calories and ended with 1050. Not terrible. Had a great workout night though the gym was very warm. I was soaking wet when my workout was complete.

B - Hard Boiled eggs

S - Dannon light and fit yogurt

L - Trader joes Turkey meatballs

S - Buddig turkey

D - meatloaf and zucchini

S - 4 SF Popscicles

Calories - 942

Exercise - heading to the gym as I am not able to go the rest of the week.

ing Everyone,

I'm sorry you had difficulty sleeping Daisy. That really does color the next day in a negative way. I'm getting excited about the end of the school year but for the next two nights I have to be in Boston for rehearsals and I'm not really looking forward to that because they go until 9:30 and it could be after 11 before I even get home tonight which will make our last day tomorrow a bit of a challenge. At least I can sleep in on Thursday!!

Good morning Daisy and menu peeps. I had some good news yesterday, things change quickly LOL. My son and his family are coming from India, and they're coming on Friday as in three days. They just bought the tickets yesterday. I had gotten I texts I believe Saturday saying they may not be coming at all, which of course I was heartbroken at the idea, and then get this text yesterday. Now just figuring getting there from the airport because I can't drive

Accountability: my girlfriend brought me a dinner steak and potatoes, so I have that including a little bit of the potatoes, it was delicious. Still not happy with my need for a late night immediately before bed snack. For the longest time I was always doing a hot drink at night but I guess with the change of weather I haven't been as into doing that and that usually kept me. It was also a to latte day

B: two lattes, one with MCT oil/MiraLAX English muffin with cream cheese and lox, never had it yesterday.

L: Cobb salad

D: steak, potato, maybe some stirfry veggies

S: protein drink TBD, Jell-O, wasa cracker with cheese

what the heck? Seems many are going thorough this same night time eating? I keep trying to pinpoint the cause. I've narrowed it down to:

I'm exhausted and want to eat.

I haven't pooped so I 'need' to eat these foods to help make me poop (at least that was my false reasoning with the peanut butter)

There is something in my body that wants my pouch to be 'full' before I lay down. It is looking to fill some void and I can't figure it out.

It bothers me that I can't quite pinpoint the cause of wanting 'more'

And WAHOO on you having company. Can't they catch the train then get uber if you can't drive?

LOL - I've had some of those same theories! Although I eat fiber when I'm having the poop theory - e.g., yogurt with flaxseed mixed in. Otherwise, same!

They did offer to do that, but the train out of JFK that gets them to Jamaica where they can catch the train to Long Island. That train is like an hour ride. And then it's like another hour ride from Jamaica to the station by my house Ronkonkoma. With getting through customs and timing of connections they wouldn't roll into my house till maybe 11 PM. And after a plane ride across the world with a toddler and a one-year-old, that's just too much.

Uber from JFK is like $120. Obviously there's other car services as well, if I can't work out as friends I have will have to look into them. The issue was the car seats. They really don't want to bring them if they don't have to, again carry them across the world

I think having a little something in your stomach sometimes does help you sleep better. I think sometimes for me, there is no reason it's just a mental thing. Or sometimes I'm going to bed too late and if you haven't eaten for hours yes you might be really hungry but what's more thing do you eat that just takes the edge off without being too much. Like I said the hot drink at night I always did me well, but just not feeling it with the warmer weather. So have to figure out a Plan B
