What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
Morning everyone!! Yesterday's BBQ was good. Hubby didn't have as much people come as he thought- so we have tons of food left. We sent people home with food and still have enough to have a cookout with guests on July 4th. I did eat protein first but also had a spoonful of potato/macaroni salad with my protein. I intended on eating coleslaw- but forgot to pull it out of the fridge. Where I went bad was with cinnamon loaf cake I bought. Kept picking at that- and chips. The cake was done by the end of the night (not by me alone). Today it's back to normal and I've got lots of protein to choose from for the next few days. I don't have stats to reports for yesterday cause I lost track. Carbs & calories were all high I'm sure.
qotd: I donated any clothes size 16 and higher. I figure I got good wear out of everything and know how hard it is to find plus size clothes-- why should I hoard what I can't wear. I'm in a 10/12 now, but I have my 14's still and will keep them just in case. I did/will keep one pair my size 26 pants- the last pair I bought before surgery.
193.5 today, 25 months out
m1: protein shake
m2: BBQ chick leg quarter
m3: beef/chorizo burger W/cheese
m4: BBQ ribs

Good morning menu peeps. Rainy morning here in Illinois but Lily wanted to walk so walk we did--our regular 3.2 miles under a big golf umbrella. Yes I am probably known as the crazy dog walking lady along with Lily's mom but we both felt better afterwards so it's all good. QOTD I have zero clothes that are not size 0 or 1 and nothing bigger than a size small top. I don't want to mentally give myself permission to gain weight. I wish I had kept one pair of my size 28s though as a visual reminder of how far I've come. Since I've been the same size now for 4 years I really need to start picking up a few new things and replacing some of the ones I'm getting tired of wearing. Plans today include church in a bit and then the inlaws for lunch. If I can get the camper loaded I think hubby and I may go to the nearby state park for a couple nights to give the youngest some time here alone. After being on his own for 2 years he's having a hard time being shoved in here with us again. We can all use a bit of a break. Post op 4 years 9.75 months with weight at 118 today. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c chili with cheese D31/2 oz ribeye grilled 1/2 c green beans S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals! You CAN do this!
Good morning weekenders! Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there!
I'm just back from my walk and it is very humid. I'm glad that I got it in early so I still had the energy for a good walk. We are headed out for Father's Day celebrating soon so I'll miss pool time.
QOTD: I don't really hold onto clothes other than my fear that I will regain weight and need them again. I take everything to the thrift store and let them sort it out.
Breakfast: 3 oz turkey breast
Snack: Fuzzy Navel protein shake
Lunch: BBQ chicken breas****ermelon
Dinner: sashimi
Exercise: 3.6 mile walk

Good morning! Happy Fathers day! I am off to the gym to swim then to see my dad. I am having lunch with him today and can't wait to see him! Afterwards, I have a ton of laundry to do and need to get ready for the week. Hoping to have time to relax and finally watch House of Cards.
I'm not attached to clothes at all. Once a top is too big, I will try wearing it with leggings before letting it go. Otherwise, I get rid of everything once I am done. I can't believe my closet, it went from seriously over packed to a very small section of clothes. So far I've gone from a super tight 24/3x to a currently loose 16/xl. Unbelievable. In my adult life, I have never been smaller than a 16. I am looking forward to being much smaller, single digits would be nice! I have no fear of gaining my weight back and feel no need to keep anything. Good riddance!!

Good Morning Menu Friends & Happy Father's Day!
Yesterday, did laundry so today is recycling paper day. I need to sort what to keep, recycle & trash.
QOTD: I donated my plus size clothes to Salvation Army--didn't keep anything. When I regained 30 lbs, I had to purchase 5 pair pants--I had enough tops I could wear to work. When I am done with these, I will donate them also. I don't want to have "safety" clothes in the house.
M1: Decaf hazelnut coffee with vanilla protein shake
M2: Tri-tip with greek yogurt
M3: Prime rib
M4: Turkey burger with greek yogurt
Fluids: yes
Vitamins: yes
Exercise: no
Enjoy your Sunday.

Again talk to text, so excuse the typos and misspellings.
I had a better day with the food yesterday, after my emotional eating on Friday. Back down the 2 pounds that my weight fluctuated up from it and at 163 this morning. Still not big on the solids, so drink a lot of liquids protein shakes yesterday and had the one dinner I had written out basically a Cobb salad, which being in small pieces I think it somehow easier to get down.
QOTD: I did quite a few major purge of my closet along the way. I still do have the dress I wore to my sons wedding. What I will do it that whole knows. And I also have one dress that I'm in wearing in one of the before pictures are used. And I used to wear that dress all the time. Usually people save one pair jeans for their fat clothes picture but I didn't think of that. It was weird the summer to unpack my clothes from last summer and not worry about fitting into anything.
After 10 days of playing with this brace, both me and the physical therapists, several times I think I finally have it adjusted correctly. Which makes it a tad more comfortable or at least I feel like it's doing what it supposed to do.
B: latte with fairlife/mct oil/miralax Scrambled egg beaters with bacon and cheese
L: pork with peppers and onion and tzaziki sauce
D: Cobb salad
S: protein drink, protein bar, trail mix or nuts, coconut milk homemade SF ice cream. Will not have all of these but these are the choices
ex: stretching and what I can do with my non-laid up side.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad!

Good morning everyone!
Finally sneaking in a few minutes to post. We had a good day yesterday, I had to do some work in the morning but the rest of the day we ran errands and then kinda did whatever we felt like. Last night we ended up at the drive-in (made possible because one of the do whatever I want things was a nap) where we saw Wonder Woman and The Mummy. Really liked Wonder Woman, I have no childhood or sentimental attachment to the character but regardless it was a good movie.
Today the humidity is already unbearable, I'm expecting another long week at work so I'll keep a low profile today and try to get some relax time in in between weekly meal prep and laundry.
I haven't been able to post too often lately but I'm sticking to my plans for the most part. It does get harder to make a plan when things get chaotic and I've been reminded a couple times that I don't have the luxury of not thinking ahead anymore.
QOTD I kept the outfit I was wearing in the before pic that I posted here but most everything else has gone by now. It wasn't a quick process mind you, I took a long time to part with things even for months after I was out of them. Currently there are several different sizes in my closet (and spilling out of it...) some of it is already too big and some of it I haven't quite gotten into yet. Unfortunately very few summer items...ugh...
6+ months post op
B- coffee w/ chocolate premier
L, D, S - yep...no plan...Sunday is meal prep day and I think there will be chicken on the BBQ for dinner
I've seen scale numbers starting with a 1 for the past couple days, official weigh in is tomorrow... fingers crossed.
Have a great day guys!
