Question
I have seen several posters say they have had a revision. There is a separate forums for revision. You might want to check there. I think the only reason people have the revision is when they develop gerd or in one case, the VSG was done incorrectly. If you are trying for a revision to lose more weight, most insurance companies will not cover the second surgery. The weight loss is much slower. Hope someone else will help you. I have found that you will get more responses during the week when people are "at work" and spend more time on the computer.

This happens fairly often. There are a few regular posters *****vised from VSG to RNY because of gerd, and I know 2 in my local support group who also did. They are all pretty ecstatic about not having to deal with acid all the time.
