What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
Hi menu friends. I live about 10, miles outside of Philadelphia PA Wayne PA is only known for very rich.people (,doesn't apply to me) the most exciting thing that happened lately was s drug bust at the chipolate.
I had my surgery at the end of April... Can now eat solid foods... Does anybody have any inspiration for me? I'm kind of afraid to start.
My menu today was B 3 oz of yogurt...S protein shake L cup of soup S triangle of bsbybell cheese D planning a veggie omlet and a T of humus. Your friend Nance
Welcome to the boards!
my advice for solids, is take your time, don't ru**** Some things I could tolerate right away, others took months. A good steak, I've been able to eat since day one. Eggs, on the other hand, depending on the day, still sit heavy.
in the early days, I relied a lot on chicken salad, ham salad, tuna salad ( there's a theme here haha).
good luck, keep posting and reading on here!

Hello my menu friends. I'm late posting today. I live in Courtice, ON- 50 kms east of Toronto where I grew up. I'm originally from Newfoundland and while I do love to visit I wouldn't want to live there. I need my summers! I joke with my West Indian family (FIL is from St. Vincent) and friends that I was born on the WRONG island. Courtice is a pretty boring town but we like it. We are right on the border of Oshawa which is known mainly for General Motors. When we move 1.5 kms (approx 1 mile) next weekend we will be moving to Oshawa. I'm so excited because I love our new house. Also, moving to Oshawa means I can get an Oshawa library card and borrow ebooks. I have a card for Clarington (the region Courtice belongs to, and one for Toronto because I work in Toronto. But when our office moves next month I won't be able to renew the Toronto card and they have the best ebook selection. I love to read but prefer to read on my phone or iPad.
Today I am busy packing. I had Chinese food for supper last night and then some of the leftovers for lunch today. I stuck to meat and veggie options but I know it wasn't the best choice. The usual protein shake for breakfast and a Wendy's chilli for supper. My eating isn't at its best right now but we are packing for the move and it has to be done quickly. Hard to believe that in one week we will be in our new place.
I haven't had too many issues with McDonald's meat although I do find it greasy. It's not my usual choice but sometimes fast food is the best option for us. I usually get either a McDouble with no bun and no ketchup, or I get a chicken breast. The other night I got the chicken breast with Sweet Chilli sauce on it. I scraped most of the sauce off but it was very good. I prefer the chicken breast to the McDouble. I always make sure to choose low-no Carb options and make sure I don't exceed my calorie goal for the day.
Well back to packing. Have a great rest of your Saturday and Happy Faher's Day to all the dad's!
