Thank you Pammieanne! It really was such a surprisingly positive experience! I am on all liquids plus 20-40 grams of protein for this phase, but already am seeing recommendations looming for the next phases of farina, oatmeal, etc. I will hear in mind the advice of the vets here to eschew such carb-rich foods and will opt instead for cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, etc. Thanks for your kind comments!

It really does feel that way, Caroljo! I was in the car today - my adorable nephew took me to my surgeon's center to be checked - and the whole world looked just so gorgeous, wildly flowering, so colorful and bright. I'm ready for my new life!
