Born again stomach!

I'm home from the hospital! My surgeon said that my surgery went "perfectly", and I feel that is true. The entire hospital staff was so kind, generous, friendly, and warm. It was a really positive experience, I felt really well supported. I got home late yesterday. Today I have hydrated well. I have had some protein powder (still need more for the day), SF jello, and broth. Still a little pain, will use pain meds tonight. But altogether this has been as positive an experience as an operation of this nature could possibly be. I hope that the rest of you who have had/ are having surgery around now are doing very well too!

Awesome news. Congratulations.
Now just keep those legs moving and it's all about getting fluids and protein in. It's tough at first. But all you need to do is follow directions and the weight should be pouring off in no time.
Congrats on your surgery! I really encourage you to start walking right away. It will be short at first, but it makes alot of difference.
