What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?

I brought a spinach 1 egg/egg white omelette to work but then there was pizza so I had a slice. Small slice. I also had some salad and I'm super glad that goes down well. My penance for eating that pizza is now I need to eat a day old omelette.

There was about 4 leftover slices that I was in sole possession of but I easily found a willing taker on the floor above me. In my past life I may have had as many as 3 slices.

Even my nutritionist said a slice of pizza every now and then is ok. But it's gotta be just one slice and that's considered a meal, definitely not a snack. Anyway it's back to the grind today. I have a milestone SV on the near horizon and I absolutely want to see it happen sooner rather than later

I would have eaten a half of a pizza prior to surgery... not just 3 slices...

So next time you are faced with pizza, skip the crust and have 2 slices worth of the toppings. I weigh out the toppings and just eat 4 ounces... it's interesting to me because the better the pizza joint, the less slices it takes to get up to 4 ounces of toppings. Oh, and I only order the meat laden ones, and thin crust so there's not as much to throw away (or feed to the chickens)

What you said Pammie! Lots of meat..thin crust...except...sometimes I do eat the crust. Not during my first year but now I can eat some and enjoy it.

Another reason I need a goat! To eat my crusts.

Good morning menu folks! The heat is definitely on and the humidity makes it really miserable. I did all of my walking indoors yesterday and I probably will do it again today. It's just too much by the time I have a chance to get out.

I stuck to my menu yesterday except that we ended up going out to eat for dinner, so I had flounder rather than turkey. That made my calories about 50 higher, but not bad.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs, 1 turkey sausage, 1 turkey bacon

Snack: Ice Tea protein shake

Lunch: TJ's Balsamic chicken

Snack: ?

Dinner: TJ's vera cruz swai

Exercise: indoor walking

Exercise? What's that? Damn... I haven't been to the gym in far too long... I need to get back to that... AFTER Vacation - see how easily I just made excuses for that one?!

Declining dessert is a huge feat! Go you!

Morning RNY'ers! Today is my 8th grader's graduation! I'm excited- he'd rather not go::sigh:: my laid back nature rubbed off a bit to much on him. I told him graduations are sort of like funerals- it's really for those attending, not the guest of honor:-) Today I need to buy him shoes, get his haircut and clean my bathroom ahead of our cookout on Saturday.

Yesterday's stats were 1168 cal, 113 protein and 78 carbs. I ate a smll bag of pretzels late in the day, and realized I'd have been better off eating my Protein bar. (Which I did for dinner).

193.5 today, 25 months out

m1: protein shake

m2: yogurt, berries

m3: pulled pork

m4:? We may go out after graduation.

We tried sending the boys yesterday to get haircuts and for some reason the barber was closed. I felt bad for them cause they had to walk there and back in the heat, but hey they're young :-) you don't know the level of feeedom I feel being able to give them $ and say go get your haircut! I detest taking them to the barber-- that's just not a 'girl zone' lol.

Damn these miles between us!
