Vitamin Deficiency
I take 2 Calcium Citrate+D3 3x day regular size not petite, 2 Complete Multi"s one Morning and one at night with my Iron, 1 b1 100mg a week,B12 500 3x week my labs said 2000, 1 50,000 dry D3 week, 4perfect Iron and 1 Vitamin C . I know I need labs but at this time my Surgeon won't order until I come see her and that is 3 hours away and I need to get another vehicle. I can see if my PCP could order some labs but she does not know anything about what to look for, do you think she can call my Bariatric Dr to ask what labs to check because at this time I can't make it to St Vincent? do you think that would be a problem? i'm 3 years out now.
Not many docs use the tongue test for vitamin levels anymore. They usually test your blood. What does your labwork say?

My first thought re funky tongue is when someone has an adverse reaction to something. Have you tried and changed to something new and/or different like dental work, mouthwash, toothpaste, medicine, makeup or food/drink? (my mother had a severe tongue reaction when she licked "milk" coming from one of her cactus plants. Her response when asked why on earth would she do such a thing, "I've heard of people surviving on cactus when lost in the desert and thought I'd see.")
Did you get this resolved? Let me know if it was just something you were eating or vitamins. I have a condition called burning mouth syndrome. But you mostly likely are having some reaction to a vitamin or pill. Is this still a problem?
