what's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Good morning Daisy and all of you menu'ers. You are all bosses! My day yesterday was sleeping as much as possible and protein loading. And binge watching House of Cards. Today will be more of the same. I am so hoping to get my drains out on Thursday.
Accountability: Great idea Daisy. I did very well following my plan yesterday. I almost skipped my evening yogurt, but decided I needed the 12 grams of protein. My stats were: calories 879, Carbs 34, Protein 120.
2-1/2 years post-op:
B: egg beater, mozzarella, bacon omelette
S: 3 oz. ham. Protein water
L: 1/2 cup ricotta bake
S: 3 oz. ham
D: baked chili relleno
S: Light & Fit Yogurt
Totals: Calories 878, Carbs 50, Protein 100

I've found two that I like. Trusource has 20 grams of protein and 80 calories. Protein20 has 15 grams and 60 calories. I like Trusource the best ( got it at Target) but the Protein20 is good too ( got it at Rite Aid). The only issue with it is that sometimes it is thick ( shelf time?). I just dilute with water and it is fine. Both are whey isolate.

Good morning. Yesterday went well until dinner. I had some mashed potatoes so I went over my carb and calorie count. But today's another day. Stats ended up at 748cal, 50carbs, 75protein
Today is 6 weeks out since surgery:
B: Premier Protein shake
L: rolled up deli ham and cheese
S: turkey pepperoni
D: Roasted garlic chicken sausage and veggies
635cals, 25carbs, 61protein
