Morning!
yeah the shift in weather has been jarring!
I've been on my own since Thursday, and the Mr. comes home today. I'm really looking forward to it. I was due for some alone time, but the novelty has worn off, and I feel like Kevin McAllister, being a kid, but acting all adulty. House is clean, groceries done, meal prep done.... whereas I thought I'd just hang out in my underwear watching terrible TV...
all the grocery store talk yesterday, and I forgot to mention, we just signed up for a few amazon subscriptions, so I'm interested to see how that goes. Things like vitamins, decaf coffee, restorlax etc. well, I guess by we, I mean me. Not much for hubby in that list, lol.
im liking the accountability idea. Here's yesterday's stats:
Calories: 681, protein 93 and carbs 19
the only change in the plan was I had a 1/2 vanilla premiere protein blended with 1/2 cup of strawberries In the evening.
menu:
B: premiere protein
L: 2.5oz taco beef with chopped tomato and green onion
D: 3oz of chicken sate with a tablespoon of peanut sauce
S: 75g of skyr with a few strawberries
S2: prob the other half of that shake with berries again
have a good one!

Chewing gum during meal prep is a great idea! Thanks for the idea! I might try!

Ugh night snacking used to be the death of me. Now it hasn't been a real issue at all and even I'm impressed by how long my box of high protein Special K has been sitting on the top of the fridge. But, I'm practically a RNY newborn so I need to be mindful of the degree of difficulty there and heed the words of "my elders" Even just an extra 100 calories a day adds up to 10 lbs a year. Adding 400 after dinner (something I did all the time) is playing Russian Roulette with a loaded pistol. Thanks for sharing this.
