I have a surgery dummy date in September and have a few questions.

Are there any possible complications associated with the bypass?

What is dumping syndrome?

Welcome! This site is very informative and supportive. You will find so much information using the search function. For example, my best advice is to type dumping syndrome there and spend some time reading through prior posts. Good luck on your journey.

You can read through hundreds (if not thousands) of posts about what dumping is... if you go up to the bar that says "Search this forum" and put in dumping... you'll be inundated with posts... go check them out

There are complications with RNY... VSG... the Band... DS... AND being morbidly obese. Talk to your doctor about your concerns, and read on here about the experiences of others. You will find good things, and bad things here.

Compliance, and sticking to a GOOD program, before and after surgery will help with any possible complications too.
