Good Monday Morning!!
And boy has it been a Monday!! We are having pay issues at work. So far there are 4 people on my team not getting paid this week. The rest won't know till payday if we get paid or not. Fun times!! Come on Friday!! I can almost see you. :)
Grocery shopping for me i**** and miss. I tend to buy my veggies at a store called Farm Boy. Then in the summer they have the best kabobs for on the BBQ. So I tend to go there for almost everything. I enjoy Costco as well, but it's just me so makes no sense. I don't have a time when I go every week. I need to plan my meals better. I tend to check the freezer and then go with that. Or see how my day goes and pop in to a place on the way home. (No more take out for me, but still not as organized as I should be.)
Menu for today:
Breakfast: Tea with Miralax and Premier Protein. (Still no luck in the bathroom, so never weighed to see how I did last week. Crossing fingers things get going today.)
Snack: Skyr Greek yogurt with some Poptartz protein powder mixed in for flavour.
Lunch: 4oz Chicken break with spicy mayo for dipping
Snack: 2oz Chicken with spicy mayo for dipping
Supper: Homemade hamburgers on the BBQ
Snack: 2 sugar free popsicles,
It's hot as hell here today. I'm loving it. So cold in the office so it's nice to go outside and warm up!!
Exercise: one hour with the trainer, then 30mins of cardio, then home to do at least 3 garbage runs-lots of cardboard from putting furniture together yesterday.
Water: 44oz already done for the day. Will keep at it. Today is a non-plain water day so I'm using sugar free drink crystals.
Have a great one!!

Good Morning Menu Mates!
The weekend was very relaxing at Disneyland. Over the past few years, it has become my place to unwind. I weighed this morning and lost 1 pound so down to 174!
QOTD: I do buy 99% of meats from Costco. I purchased a deep freezer in 2014 when I decided to have the WLS. I stock it up so every 3 months I give Costco all my money for meats. Other things, I will stop in Ralphs near work or use Amazon Fresh.
I am continuing with CAMAW this week, so here goes....
M1: Chai with vanilla protein shake
M2: 4 chicken meatballs with greek yogurt
M3: 4 oz ribs
M4: 4 chicken meatballs with greek yogurt
Vitamins: yes
Fluids: yes
Excercise: slow walk
Have a fantastic day!
Hi Daisy and everyone!
Daisy, I also make a list in order of the aisles at the store! I have to plan my grocery shopping meticulously - on weekdays it's just me and my BF so I make dinner every night and that is the lunch for the following day, and then the 3 nights a week we have his 3 kids, I have to take into account that we are feeding a family of 5 plus very picky people! So I generally make a note in my iPhone of the following 5 day's meals, then create a grocery list to accompany it. I go to Costco about once a month and stock up on paper towel, chicken sausages and (amazingly) another $300 worth of stuff, but about every 5 days I go to a grocery store near here - either Weis, Giant or my absolute FAVORITE, Wegmans! Go to Wegmans the next time you visit JB and Grim - it's amazing. I also go to Trader Joe's periodically and grab the things only they carry.
Time Since Surgery: 3.5 years
B: Egg salad made with mayo, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper; coffee with cream beforehand
L: Leftover PF Changs lettuce wraps that I make - I make it with ground chicken, snow peas, water chestnuts, onions, garlic, scallions, and the sauce is sriracha, hoisin, grated ginger, sesame vinegar, soy sauce
D: BBQ chicken breast on the grill, a small baked potato, cucumbers
E: Hopefully. It's 100 here and I swear this heat makes me lethargic!
V: 3 patches on...good to go!
Have a great day, and thanks for leading the challenge last week - it was so fun for me to watch everyone get into the spirit! I didn't do AMAW or CAMAW but I sure had fun being a voyeur :)
I LOVE the PF Changes lettuce wraps! I haven't made them at home in a long time... I think I'm due! Thanks for the great reminder!
