Morning everyone!

Yesterday was great. Got pedis with my mom, and hung out with my nephew!

think I'll try and catch one of my sister's softball games this morning, and get some stuff done outside around the house.

Qotd: let's talk bucket lists! Do you believe in them? Do you have one? Have your goals changed post op?

Ive never really had one, but I do have a few places I want to travel to, and spend a good amount time in each place. Israel is definitely at the top. And Italy. I'm also thinking about sky diving....which is something I never would have considered even a year ago.

what are some experiences you have on your wish list?

menu

B: protein shake

L/D : time to revisit my plan for the day, since i just realized I don't have any actual food in the house... meal prep afternoon I suppose!

have a good one gang!

scorcher again today - and the next few days to boot. Boo. But at least that means I'll be more-or-less forced to stay at home (in the A/C) most of the day today, so I can clean this sty!!!

QOTD: no real bucket list except to visit a few more places - Romania and Scandinavia for sure - and some of the far eastern parts of Canada, like Nova Scotia. Oh - and Scotland. I'd also love to see more of the Middle East, but sadly, I doubt that will happen in my lifetime :-(

2 years out (maintenance):

B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, mango coconut protein shake

L: meeting a friend for brunch, so not sure - something safe, though

D: carnitas with plain Greek yogurt, tomatoes, lettuce, and a Flat Out wrap

probably another yogurt if I can afford the calories

ex: yoga

Good morning :)

Much of the same today -- catching up on stuff around the house, both inside and outside. We are borrowing a spare bed from a family member and we got that all set up yesterday. And we cleaned out our sunroom which tends to become a junk room over the winter when we can't use it.

QOTD: I don't really have a bucket list, but every once in a while I will do something and think, oh that's something off the list. Last year we went to Disney and I went on my first upside-down rollercoaster (one that goes through loops or spirals or something). Also last summer we went to Ireland and kissed the Blarney Stone.

Breakfast - leftover burger (I'm craving this for some reason)

Snack - Greek yogurt with SF syrup

Lunch - chicken skewers

Snack - kielbasa and cheese

Dinner - beef skewers

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Good morning Sunday RNY'ers. It's very early here in Portland, but my sleep is all messed up these days. Basically a series of naps.

Feeling better this morning. I seemed to have turned a corner. All of the PS vets told me that the first couple of days are the worst, and then each day is better. As expected, they are right. Looking forward to the day the drains and pain pump comes out.

not much on the docket today, except to continue binge watching Orange is the New Black. My helper went home yesterday, but I have plenty of people checking in with me.

QOTD: I do have a bucket list that I made when I was MO. So many seemed impossible at the time. Since RNY, I've crossed many of them off such as zip lining, climbing the tower at Norte Dame, reaching a normal BMI, reconnecting with old friends, making a difference in someone's life. Still a ton left on it: running a 1/2 marathon, hiking Mt. Hood, going into space, going on a safari, traveling to Russia, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Bali.... I had better get busy!

2-1/2 years post op:

B: egg beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette

S: light and Fit Greek yogurt, protein water

L: prawns

S: Jerky

D: Chicken soup

S: cottage cheese, protein water

Totals: Calories 825, Carbs 34, Protein 124

Have a great day!

Hi Insert Fitness and Menu Family!

We took the dogs to the vet yesterday for their annual physicals and shots and came home nearly $500 poorer! But at least they are taken care of.

QOTD: I don't really have a bucket list of fun things, but I do have things I want to get done before I die like: 1. Get my daughter's childhood pictures put into an album for her. 2. Sell my collections so she won't have to bother with them when I die. 3. Get rid of all the junk I've accumulated over the years so I'll be free to move to wherever she gets a job in the near future and also so she won't have to deal with it when I die.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: 2 hot dogs

D: taco meat, cheese, sour cream, 1/2 flour tortilla

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Doing my last 12 hour day this week, then I have off until Wednesday night. Looking forward to a couple days off and a short work week.

QOTD: I have a few things on my bucket list. I would like to travel and do some sight seeing on the east part of the US. I have been to every state on the west side from North Dakota down to Texas with the exception of Oregon and Washington ( I would like to visit them too). I have also been to Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Mississippi and Louisiana that are all on the east side (from my North Dakota to Texas line).

I want to ride in a hot air balloon. I am hoping to do that for my 50th birthday. My dad wants to do this also, so I think it would be awesome to do it with him. My sister has a friend that does powder coating and I had her make this cup for me. (My dad has always spelled my name that way so I had her do it with that spelling since a Hot Air Balloon ride is on both of our buckets lists.)

Menu:

B - 1.1 oz. beef jerky,

B2 - 3.5 oz. Shrimp, 1 Tbsp. ****tail sauce

L - 3.5 oz. Smoked Pork Loin, Asparagus w/ butter

D - 2.5 oz. Smoked salmon, baby bel light cheese round

S - 3 oz. Smoked salmon

Calories - 672, Protein - 102, Carbs - 19

Have a great day everyone!!
