Morning weekenders!

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? I'm flying solo, hubs is gone to visit family. My mom is coming into the city and we're going for pedicures with one sister, and the other is in a softball tournament so might take in a game. And spend time with baby of course!

not going to lie, the cream in my coffee was pretty magical this morning!

Qotd: let's talk yard sales. Do you go to a lot of them? Have your own? Our neighbors recently moved, and they had a huge one, which coincided with our neighborhood sale . I like to skim them on occasion, my best find was super fancy sewing machine I got for 5$!

i keep wanting to have one, but my husband is not comfortable with it, but I'm wearing him down!

Good morning! DH and I leave for the airport to travel to Aruba in 15 minutes!

QOTD: I like to go to yard sales but have to keep asking myself "Do I really need this?" I see this as an activity I'd like to do more after retiring at the end of the year. I don't like to have yard sales (a lot of work), but we did have a free one when we moved from our home of 20 years to our beach house which was already furnished. An entire household of furniture and junk gone in less than 3 hours! It is amazing what people will take when it is free. But there was some nice furniture and some nice people who needed/appreciated it so we really liked that.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: ham and cheese (yes, still doing CAMAW for the first half of the day)

D: ? Out to dinner in Aruba

S: protein chips, cheese sticks

Good morning Menu Family! Go**** feels good to write that! I am sitting here bright and early feet up coffee in hand relaxing for a few minutes disappointed that I did not sleep in this morning. I woke up at 4:30 and started thinking of work and that ended my sleeping in... Today is a busy day I am going into the office and hitting the mall on the way home if you want to count the 6 open and 15 closed stores a mall. Yesterday I kind of had a ah ha/NSV moment. For years I have always worn baggy clothes to hide my weight. Well on Friday's in my office we have jean day and if you donate a dollar to charity you can wear jeans, t-shirts etc. I had this new t-shirt in support of this sprint driver that was fatally injured last year and it supports organ donations a Driven2SaveLives.org anyhoo it was a form fitting t-shirt really something I never would have worn out of the house before. Well long story short I did get questions about my t-shirt which was great but I got lots of compliments about my how good I looked. So my husband suggested I go to the mall and "grab a few shirts that are less flowy and more form fitting" his words not mine. So I think I just may do that....

QOTD: I am not a big fan of lawn sales... I will donate my stuff all day to clothing bins, Goodwill, Salvation Army, or any other good charity but I am not one to do the whole lawn sale thing. Maybe someday...

Food for the day:

B: scrambled egg whites and a sausage patty

L: ham slice and cheese

D: my husband is asking for pizza... but where we are going for dinner has amazing wings so I think I will have some of those.

My attempt at extended CAMAW continues today. 7 more days :) we will see if I survive!!

QOTD: I would love to go to more yard sales, but Saturday mornings are not the best time for us... By the time I'm ready to go all the good stuff would be gone. I do enjoy going to the thrift store for clothes. I just can't beat a bag of clothes for like $25. I have donated a lot of my stuff but the bigger things I will sell online or on Facebook. Sometimes we will even post things free if they would be a pain to move -- bags of concrete and a fridge recently. It would have cost us more to have someone take them away.

Breakfast - Greek yogurt and SF syrup

Snack - egg, turkey bacon

Lunch - chicken skewers

Snack - kielbasa and cheese

Dinner - hoping for burgers

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

working today - boo. But at least it's my last weekend shift of the summer! Today and tomorrow are supposed to be super hot, so I'll have to find some indoor activity tomorrow - I may clean the house since my second cousin may be coming next weekend (I'll believe it when I see her). I also need to make a pot of something we can use for lunches next week.

QOTD: we went to a ton of yard sales before and after we bought our house 20 years ago, but rarely since then. They were great places to pick up stuff we needed for our house (tools, dishes, kitchen utensils and small appliances, a ladder, a wheelbarrow, etc), but we have so much crap now that I want to get rid of things! I don't think I'd ever have my own yard sale, though - too much work!

2 years out and finally back in the 130s! (maintenance):

B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, mango coconut protein/fiber shake

L: 1 C cottage cheese, strawberries

D: steak with mushroom sauce, asparagus

probably a L&F Greek yogurt or SF protein pop later on this evening

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!

I made it through CAMAW without cheating! YAY!

My main plans for today are taking our two dogs to the vet for their annual physicals and some shots. The rest of the weekend is open.

QOTD: I used to LOVE to go to garage sale and yard sales, but I ended up dragging home so much junk that now my garage and storage shed makes me look like I'm a hoarder! I should have my own garage sale, but they are SO much work, plus I'm kind of shy and the idea of hoards of people coming to my house makes me nervous.

B: proscuitto and mozzarella sticks

L: lettuce, chicken, low cal dressing

D: Sante Fe rice & beans

S: light n fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
