What's on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Happy dance! It is Friday. I am so grateful that I get to have the weekends off of my job. I relish time to be footloose and fancy free.
QOTD: I would never want to keep a truly wild animal as a pet but I do imagine a wild horse who volunteers to be my 'buddy.' You know...when I am in a tough scrape, there he is! He shows up in the nick of time to help me fight off mountain lions and then returns to his wild free state leaving me with a warm sense of comfort and knowing we will always find each other in times of need. Oh..I mean...not that I have ever thought about this before or anything.
Menu: Stuff...more stuff. Same stuff...then some of the other same stuff. Food smood. I've been having small pouch days this week.
Accountability: Weight is stable at 125. Smoking quit is good.
Photo FRIDAY:
Here she is...the very poorly groomed Nibbler. She got into a bunch of burrs last week so she needed to get shaved down. I tried to take her to get her professionally groomed and she got kicked out of the groomers for being a bad dog! LOL She is too wiggly apparently even for the pros. So the kids and I have been trying to shave her down and get her cleaned up. She looks a MESS! LOL
I know! I know! The shame...it is terrible. Poor little thing. Her tail just looks hilarious to me.
I'm thinking about growing my hair out... what do you all think?
Have a wonderful weekend ya'll!
~Elizabeth

So true.... so true. Perhaps less Kenny. Also...I now think I might print this soul gazing Kenny photo out and hang him on my fridge so he will be quietly judging my every move.
Photo from this epic blog about Kenny. Must read. LOL
Also...to quote the Man himself...

Happy Friday! I haven't been posting lately due to a work schedule change, I am unable to post until the end of the day California time! A couple weeks ago I did my first before and after photo and have been meaning to jump in and post. Also, thank you to all those who do post because I often steal food ideas when I troll this page even when I am not posting. The before picture was actual taken a week after surgery in March, the after photo was taken a couple weeks ago at almost 12 weeks post op. I am down 62lbs and almost to my half way goal. Woohoo!
Breakfast: protein powder and coffee
Snack- 1/4 cup mixed nuts
Lunch: left over grilled sausage
Dinner: blackend chicken salad
snack: additional protein shake because my Dr wants me to get 60g protein from shakes still
Doing great! Keep on keeping on!!
