Good morning to day 5! That went fast. Does anyone else notice the absolutely huge portions people eat? I ate my meal last night and seriously sat there another 30 minutes while people ate. I guess I have gotten used to my small meal sizes, but it really shocks me how big a normal meal size is. And, Daisy, chips! OMG. This guy ate nearly an entire big bag of Fritos at dinner. I used to love/crave them with bananas. I got through it but wow. This is serious business ;) Doing great otherwise except the Miralax is not working. More water today, I think. And I am back up almost two pounds...

B: Premier Protein chocolate with coffee and Miralax

L: Dannon greek yogurt, 1 oz salami and 1 oz pepper jack

D: 4 deviled egg halves (Daisy!), 1 oz beef jerky

S: 1 oz beef jerky, diet cran something in water

Totals: 819 calories, 92 protein, 32 carbs 38 fat

Tough making a menu today. I have run out of ideas. And I still have a LOT of salami and pepper jack ;). Have a great Friday everyone!

I've noticed peoples portions more lately too. I catch myself thinking -how do they not feel sick eating so much? We have crossed over and it's a good thing. I never though I would be able to let go of food in this way.

I totally forgot to weigh this morning. Oh well, I'm good with 4 lbs lost.

Last night my husband and I were working at the American Legion like every Thursday. I had some real challenges! They have a popcorn machine!!! Last night for the first time ever, I resisted the popcorn!! I even took home a giant bag for the kids. I didn't even care and the smell didn't reel me in lol. Also, my husband was cooking and handed me a scoop of beans to try so I scooped up only a bite of the meat in it. I did not cheat one single time this whole week! I'm going to continue to eat this way with the exception of some green veggies. We are going to Destin FL in July so I hope to drop a few more lbs before then.

Today I'm eating carne guisada, baked fish, and probably wings for dinner.
