10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Good morning meaty folks. The scale is still being slow. I've lost 1.2 pounds this week rather than the usual 3-4 pounds. I'm not worried because I know that it will come off with more time since I'm doing the right things.
I have to say that this week hasn't been all that hard for me since I eat mostly meat and a few veg. I do miss the veg though.
Breakfast: scrambled egg, 2 pieces turkey bacon
Snack: Fuzzy navel protein shake
Lunch: TJ's Balsamic chicken
Snack: turkey breast
Dinner: shrimp
Totals: 609 calories, 102 protein
Exercise: 4-5 mile walk

I'm feeling a little discouraged - a pound came back last night! I did eat more calories in the form of ham and cottage cheese than planned, so maybe it is water weight or other bathroom weight? Regardless I'm still in it for the last day.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: ham and cheddar cheese
D: Grilled chicken
S: cheese sticks, yogurt

I know what you mean about waiting to weigh. That's what I did during the weight loss phase after WLS, but I've been weighing daily for about 8 months now. You'd think I'd be used to the ups and downs by now but the ups still freak me out especially when I have been eating well.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Morning!
The final push!
menu:
B: premiere protein
L: sausage and mustard
D: probably the same, or fish.
S: premiere protein with coffee
the longer the challenge goes on, the less interest I have in food. I will reintroduce cheese and veggies slowly over the weekend and maybe hold off on nuts and seeds for a bit, to see where the snack-iness cravings and hunger come from.
will update later with pics and stats!
happy Friday all!
