Pre-op Diet

So I've been on this draconian pre-op diet. This is day 11, surgery is Monday. I have been having 4 shakes every day (108 grams of protein) made with water, plus drinking a boatload of plain water. And that's it! Stopped having coffee, which I miss! I haven't been headache-y though I have been noticeably physically fatigued, but I figure it's in a good cause and hopefully will help my operation to go well. I'm not usually too hungry, though I admit to drooling over some of those AMAW/CAMAW photos y'all have been posting! But the good news is that I am down 18.2 pounds since last Monday! Yay! A good start to my surgery month!
Just a few more days! Hang in there. You're doing amazingly well. :)

We will do it SarahJane! For me getting this operation is all about giving myself a tool to help me to maintain what I lose. In the past I've been a absolutely champion dieter - but a truly lousy maintainer! This time I want to be smarter. Stay in touch! Your pre-op diet will be over in a twinkling! I wish you a wonderful journey!
