Here we are day 4! I already cant wait for the next AMAW! This has been so fun! I love how engaged everyone is. Online community's can be tricky at times but ohh so worth the support like this! Not seeing a jump on the scale just about 1 pound.. but I kinda expected that. I'm not eating much different then normal. I do feel less " bloated".

One of my sons gave me quite the scare yesterday. He dislocated his finger after school at football training. I got a text from his twin telling me to get to the school and no sooner did he text I got a call from the nurse ( who was luckily still there) telling me the ambulance was on the way and asking what hospital to transport to. Turns out the dislocation was pretty gruesome and his finger was too blue to wait out me getting him. The EMT reset his finger in ambulance before he even left the school due to the nature of the injury and the discoloration they felt it couldn't wait. But the story does have a happy ending...xray is all clear and no ligament damage! I have had one too many of these calls... life of a Momma with boys I guess. LOL

Pre surgery I would have talked myself into about 5000 calories of comfort food after that scare... my ah-hah moment came when I went home and was happy just to eat my pork chop! HAHA

Busted-up fingers are AWFUL, I've done similar things several times. Glad he got all fixed up!

And stories like this make me glad my son is only a year and a half and not making that kind of trouble just yet, LOL!
