Good morning Daisy and all. Another lovely day here in MD. A bit cool, but that will make good walking later on this morning.
Today is deep water aerobics again plus there will be at least one walk in my day.
The scale is moving down, but very slowly this week. I've only lost .8 pounds thus far which is disappointing, but I know I'm doing the right things and it will continue to move.
Breakfast: Hard boiled egg, 2 pieces of turkey bacon
Snack: Ice Tea protein shake
Lunch: TJ's balsamic chicken
Snack: 2 ounces smoked salmon
Dinner: 4 ounces of turkey breast
Totals: 587 calories, 96 protein
Exercise: 3 mile walk, deep water aerobics

Do you usually lose weight in spurts? I ask because you may just get what I call a "whoosh" --
I often will maintain for a while and then suddenly have a relatively dramatic loss. The good thing about my "whooshes" is that they usually seem to have more of an effect on my actual body sizing, too.

Yes, once or twice a week I have a significant drop and the rest of the time I am either stable or drop in small amounts. It just makes it hard to gauge what is happening on a week like this.

That's how I lose weight too. At first, of course, it came off daily, then every few days... and now I am where I was when I used to lose weight before WLS... wait for it.... wait for it... come on, a little longer.... BOOM... WOOSH!
It's frustrating as hell, and only further proves that the sibling theory may have some truth, Kat! LOL

I swear to you though -- those "wooshes" almost always come with actual body size differences, too... so that part is awesome!

Funny Story...this morning I got onto the scale to check on my CAMAW progress, and the scale said 110! OMG! But then I realized that the scale was sitting a little crooked on the bathroom rug. So...back up to 116. LOL Can't say I have had any big AHA moments, except to day that this is how I eat most of the time, so if I am really going to lose more, I am going to have to be a lot more drastic in restricting calories or giving up cheese. I'm okay with things, as is, though.

Do you actually want to be lower in weight? I am just curious. I realize you are smaller in height.

My comfort range has been 114 - 118 but to be honest, I have been 116 - 118 and haven't seen the lower side of the range as often, since I stopped running due to injury. I would definitely prefer to be on the lower end of things, more often than not, so yeah--a few more pounds would make me feel better.
