Good morning!
5 months out, CAMAW. My weight has been holding steady at 241 this week.
My "aha" moment is realizing how I have let bad habits creep in already. I'm not even 6 months out! I have not been weighing/measuring as I should. I have been eating more fruit and trying out recipes with almond flour. I need to be much more focused on my protein and get rid of the unnecessary carbs. Thanks for the opportunity to get refocused and set myself up for long term success. I do better mentally with a pared down menu, sometimes too much variety increases my cravings. I see other people mention that they have less desire to eat, no cravings, and/or that food does not taste as good to them post op. Unfortunately, I have experienced none of those outside of the first week or 2 after surgery. I have to remain vigilant.
B-1/2 c cottage cheese
L-Bratwurst and mustard
D-unknown. We usually grab a quick meal out on Thursdays. Maybe a piece of fish?
S-1/2 c cottage cheese if I need to up my protein.

This was never my experience either. I've always had to be vigilant as well.

Good morning, carnivore crew!
Yesterday was a major win. I went to the grocery store to pick up my lunch, and the granola bars were calling my name. I managed to NOPE right past that aisle and straight back to the meat counter, where I grabbed a half-pound of ****tail shrimp to keep in my mini-fridge instead. I could have given in, and I probably would have last week, but I can make better choices and stick to my plan. Go me(at)!
I'm pleased to report that I'm down by 3.6 lb as of this morning. Can I get a "HELL YES?"
B: 2 sausage patties
L: Meatballs
D: Porkchops
S: Jerky
