I'm glad my son swims. Ear infections and moldy towels are the worst of it.

I had that scare April of this year. Son dislocated his thumb also and was transported by ambulance to nearby Emergency. Had to wear a cast for 4 weeks and a thumb splint for another 2 weeks. Thumb has heeled. You are right, Mama with a boy!

My twin was always getting hurt when we were young.

I'm sorry you had to have the scary mom call.

Hi Daisy and crew - I am out! Sorry, menu was good, but I had a couple of road trips to meet with vendors and I did not stick to CAMAW. I had a Salmon Salad yesterday for lunch that was to die for and I had cole slaw as a side the day prior at lunch as there were no other options for me!

Good morning, fellow Healthy Peeps!

Ok - a couple of AHA moments: My abdominal hernia is sticking out more (how stupid is it, to find victory in THAT?), and I am ABSOLUTELY not mindlessly grazing, like I was. Grazing has ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS been my downfall. I have never been a "volume" eater. I just ate a little, all day/night long.

Today's plan remains pretty simple, but filling:

B: Coffee and Protein Shake

L: Roast

S: Boiled egg

D: Chicken

S: Boiled egg

W: One gallon diluted CL

E: 3 mile power walk

Day 4 and I'm loving it!!

I love it so much that I've decided to keep it going for the next week as well. I have some vacation bloat and I'm just loving the in control feeling I have. Also, I think posting here is helping me immensely as well. So I'm going to keep that going.

Work is stressing me out. Had a huge blow up with my director this morning. So annoyed. I need to find another place to work, but I'm in Ottawa and I don't have my French so I'm limited. Hence the fight this morning. She's going to send someone on full time French training. I flipped as I've been asking for it for 4 years. Her reasoning? We are too busy and she needs me here as I'm her strongest manager. Umm what? so you are punishing me for doing a good job? Her response? Essentially yes. I'm sorry but that's the truth. ARGH!! I think my head my explode today.

Anyhow...here's my menu for today.

Breakfast: Tea with premier protein and restoralax

Snack: Skyr Greek yogurt with some protein powder mixed in for flavour.

Lunch: Tuna with Balsamic (Didn't open the can at home-hopefully there is a can opener here somewhere.)

Snack: Buddig pack of ham

Supper: Short ribs on the BBQ.

Snack: Not sure I'll need it, but if I do cheese and ham roll up.

Water: I'm getting about 100oz in per day. I flavour one bottle, plain the next, or if I can't suffer through plain I flavour them all.

Exercise: Doing a boot camp tonight and then intervals on the treadmill.

I'm also trying to clean my bedroom. Really I should purge half the crap in there, but I'm not. I'm buying a new dresser to put things in. LOL. I've become a clothes horse since the weight loss. I love being able to buy clothes that I love, and not just because they fit and off the sales racks to boot!! BLISS!

Hope everyone has a great day!! I'll be here at work-banging my head on the keyboard. How's that for doing a great job? Jeeesh. Just back from vacation and in need of another one. :)

Morning Meaties! Yesterday's stats were 1107 calories, 132 protein, 25 carbs. So I've said before my most challenging part of the day is the space between getting home from work and dinner. I can plow through a crap ton of carbs/proteins- whatever. I've used SF jello this week to fill the gap-- but my mind has definitely been on my usual suspects. I know I won't be buying cashews again for a while or using the granola (my sons till uses it), but I still need that protein bar to keep me out of other carb evils.

193.5 today; 25 months out

M1: scrabbled eggs, 1/2c turkey sausage crumbles, sprinkle shredded cheese

M2: Greek yogurt, 3.3 oz bourbon chicken chunks

M3: 5oz ground turkey with taco seasoning, topped with salsa, sour cream & cheese

M4: likely more of meal #3
