Good morning! Super excited this morning when I stepped on the scale and I went from 190 lbs on Monday to 188lbs YAY. I haven't seen an 8 followed by a 1 since I was probably 15years old. I will admit I was a bit worried last night because I usually have been trying to stay under 800 calories a day (6 months PO) and since doing this I have been getting closer to the 1000 calories. Yesterday I also started working out again, it was only half an hours and very low impact. I love working out and have been doing it for almost 3 years but 4 weeks ago a tore my calf muscle and had to rest for a while. I still feel a bit of a pull and I am being extra careful with what I do.

Here is my menu for today:

B: 1.5 oz of lean ground pork patty, 1/2 cup of milk w/coffee and fibre powder.

MS: Skyer yogurt, salami

L: 1 egg, 1/2 bacon strip, 1/2 oz cheese

AS: 1 turkey bite, 2 light laughing cow cheese.

D: 3 oz stake (pic shows meatballs but making stake instead)

ES: not sure if I will need one but need more protein.

CAL: 696 / CARBS: 24gr / FAT: 37gr / PROTEIN: 64gr.

OMG I am so excited for you Chula! Not sure how long ago age 15 was for you but I am so thrilled you are seeing number from when you were a teenager! Day 3 for the win!

I love your breakfast idea, that looks yummy! I am totally stealing that for the future!

Just so you know meat and cheese (CAMAW) is very much higher in calories than usual. I am usually at 850-950 calories a day and on CAMAW I am eating 1050 - 1150, but its all protein so you have nothing to worry about. It kind of messes with my mind that I can eat higher calories, higher protein and yet lose weight, its the fact that I am sticking to my menu 100% and not BLTs (Bites, Licks & Tastes) and so there really is no extra calories.

Really glad you started to work out again, that is awesome but you be careful a torn calf muscle sounds excruciating!! Get well soon!

You are killing this challenge and I look forward to your menu for day 4!!

Good morning :)

Scale says I'm down three pounds this morning... Not sure how that is possible -- water???

While this has been hard at some points it has also been easy -- at the grocery store I tell myself if it isn't meat it isn't going in my cart right now. We saw maple flavoured cheerios cereal last night and I told my SO I'm going to eat a whole box the day after the wedding ;)

I do have a question for my AMAW/CAMAW peeps -- what are your thoughts on SF sweeteners during the challenge or in general (e.g. Splenda, Crystal Light, SF coffee syrups, etc.)?

Breakfast - Greek yogurt with SF syrup

Snack - rotisserie chicken

Lunch - ham with melted cheese

Snack - turkey sausage thing

Dinner - rotisserie chicken

After soccer:

Car ride snack - bacon jerky

Home snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

I've been doing crystal light in the evenings- I thought that was allowable.

Oh yes, I've been using them too... I should have clarified my question a bit. I was curious about people's feelings on using them, if they make people feel hungry, or if they try to avoid them. I love all things sweet but I know part of the challenge is to sort of detox off sweet carby things.
