Morning!

no kidding day three is when things fall apart! I realized this morning I hadn't really planned anything for the day, luckily I still have turkey patties in the freezer, and pulled out some canned salmon. Last nights dinner fell through, so I had the rest of the shrimp, so that's off the menu today!Ribs are going in the slow cooker for sure today. I will have to post an updated menu once I figure it out, but roughly:

protein shake, ground turkey, canned salmon and ribs!

I know I'm doing camaw, but that's just so I can keep my protein shake, and everything else is dense protein. Realizing how tempting it is to turn to dairy and nuts etc., as a quick fix when rushed (not that they aren't good choices, and def. part of my diet, just easily become too big a part of my diet!)

this challenge has been a good reminder of the importance of meal planning for me.

Hubby is doing well, I think he was pretty proud of going out after softball and not having any beer. I think the biggest thing is also realizing it's not that big of deal, if that makes sense.

Yes, I never really thought how much dairy I have. I don't think I could do complete AMAW at least this first time...

I am super anal about planning my menu for the next day and having it all done the night before. I work at a hospital and hard to believe but the restaurants in our food court are not WLS friendly so unless I go outside of work I need to have a lunch & snacks ready, so trust me I get you on menu planning but I think you did a great job pulling it together Erin!

I feel the same about my menu, its pretty protein dense, I am just adding the vanilla PP for coffee creamer, I put yogurt & cheese on my menu just in case but did not eat it last night.

Awesome job on your hubby not having beer after the game, that is really amazing! My hubby plays Tuesday night as well and I got a text about 9pm "We won the game, going out for beer & wings!" Tell hubby I am super proud of him!

Keep up the great work, on to Day 4!

Good Morning Daisy, Master Meat Coordinator and the meat minions.

Day 3 -- I got this!! I bow down to those who have stopped, or drink their coffee black for this. I love the smell, I love the taste, the creaminess. Oh my...LOL

I'm taking this challenge to really study myself and my feelings before, during and after eating. I have decided to cut back on my beloved hot sauce. Twice yesterday, just after finishing my meal, I got a "Hungry" feeling. I think it was the dreaded acidy, irritated pouch sensation you all speak of. Waited my 30 then drank it away!!

8+ months post-op Weight today 226.4 !

Menu

B: coffee w/ vanilla PP, Miralax, Grilled chicken thigh

L: Solid Albacore tuna w/ lite mayo

D roasted pork tenderloin (stuffed w/apple stuffing for the family)

S: No fat Greek yogurt, Not sure what to flavor it with yet

I am with you, my coffee has to be more like a latte, sweet & creamy, I wish I could go black coffee, but nope, not this girl!

Super proud of you for your self awareness! How awesome is that. I am sorry to hear about your acid and burning, what a bummer, I would hate to not use hot sauce!

Congrats on your loss, you are doing awesome!! On to day 4!

Hello fellow meat eaters & critter cravers! I like that critter craver expression! Anyway I'm a creature of habit & my meal will be similar to the last couple of days although I will experiment the black coffee thing lol

My menu so far:

B power bar protein shake

S eggs

L shrimp

S Nounos yogurt

D Tyson chicken fillet

S salami & cheese

I'm feeling pretty good even though I'm seriously missing my PB2 & coconut cashews!

Have a great day everyone! I gotta search for that Bacon salt! I might have bacon & eggs for dinner or have it sometime today. You know I just had to pick up a package of bacon yesterday after all that bacon salt talk. Lol
