I had a 2 oz rotis chicken and peanut attack at bedtime last night. My reasoning at the time was that I 'needed' the nuts to poop.

at least it wasnt cups of popcorn or chocolate!

Hello my lovely meat-loving friends!

Day 2 was pretty uneventful, though I was downright EXHAUSTED yesterday and went to bed at 7:30. Slept for 10 hours and I'm still completely wiped this morning. Guess that's carb-detox for ya?

B: 2 pork sausage patties

L: Chicken nuggets

D: Pork loin

S: Jerky

E: Maybe some spin bike, since I REALLY need butt-in-the-saddle time, but I'm just so damn tired today I have no clue if it will actually happen.

I can't remember if I shared with you, but I've been riding my bike with my son nearly every day.

My husband had my bike tuned-up and repaired as a Mother's Day gift -- and he bought me a new helmet. Actually, he bought me a helmet -- I have always refused to wear one before ... but you know, he likes it that my brains are inside my skull and all. Whatever.

Plus, there's the whole "good influence" **** since my son is riding with me.

I've been using my bike for trips to the store, small errands, etc -- just for recreational purposes. The other day, my son and I had gone 10 miles round trip and neither of us even realized it.

Well, he kind of realized it. I think his exact words were, "I feel like my legs are dying,"... blah, blah, blah.

Yeah, that's what you get when you are 11 years-old, and have no gears on your bike yet.

Awww, that's wonderful!! Family biking is the best :)

So happy to hear that you're wearing a helmet now. 20 years ago, my uncle wa**** by a car while riding his bike and would have been killed if he didn't have a helmet on. Needless to say I flat-out refuse to ride without my helmet. I love you, friend, and want you to be safe.

If you want to be extra stylish, you can always add a mohawk to your helmet!

I know. It's really stupid that I never wore one before this. Of course, the fact that David John is riding with me means I wouldn't go without one.

Did I tell you about his head injury last year when he forgot to wear his helmet in Oregon? Scariest day of my life -- seriously.

Love you, too friend.

I am actually looking for a Hello Kitty! sticker to add to my helmet.

Check Etsy for vinyl helmet decals. I have reflective flame stickers on mine (to make me go fast!) and I get decals for my phone cases all the time.

I would so wear the glow in the dark ones, in purple of course! My coworkers already tease me about my Men in Black helmet (Lumuos helmet). Hell I need to be lit up, especially at night. You know the whole Winter is coming. (Game of Thrones). Winter is coming in July. lol

Being visible is no joke! I have a LOT of gear in hi-vis yellow, including my Camelbak, since I want to make sure I'm seen and safe.

Hello This is a very busy week for me. I work at an Humane Society. I get my walks in with our dogs. We have 45 cats, and 9 kittens, rabbits. Can anyone guess what the most common reason people bring us there dogs. Not enough time for them. Even after 5 to 10 years of having them. Sorry I get alittle mad sometimes. I have had my dog going on 10 years now. I am doing good so far. Having tuff time sleeping.

My yellow lab is 15 and wears a cloth diaper most of the day. She has hip dysplasia and has lost a lot of feeling in her rear end -- and has trouble getting around. She is very attached to me -- hobbles to be near me despite the struggle.

The thought that someone would just dump her in the senior part of her life is disgusting. People are disgusting.

Sorry you have to deal with the worst of people.
