DAY 3 - AMAW/CAMAW - post your menu here!
Morning MC DD2! Another CAMAW day completed-- YES! My stats yesterday were 1100 calories, 21 carbs and 127 protein. Sorry no pics-- I'm not that organized in the morning. I will try for Friday though.
I'll say I'm glad I waited to do this challenge cause it really has made me identify that I'd gotten comfortable with certain things. I.E.- granola in my yogurt, cashews with my lunch meat rolls or tuna. Bread was making an appearance more often than is should. Add on the sneaks of a piece of candy here or there, and no wonder my weight was trending upwards. I'm making it just fine without those things- a huge realization.
My weight reached a high point last week of 199. I started buckling down then, started CAMAW @ 194.5 and am 193.5 today. So I'm back in my comfort zone, and actually feel like my goal is attainable.
25 months out, 193.5 today
M1: 2 eggs, 2 oz beef bologna
M2: deli ham/chicken/ cheese lunch meat roll, greek yogurt
M3: 1.5 or 2 ground chicken patties w/ cheese
M4: Likely a protein shake- I have no dinner plan and will likely do breakfast for dinner for the kids.

Bologna... I haven't had it in years but I do love it.

It's not a very good protein source though, and very high in fat/calories. I usually do ham or turkey sausage- double the protein, 1/2 the calories/fat. I was making my son lunch this AM and wanted to see if the fattiness of bologna still affected me like it used to. It doesn't.

Peach that is so awesome about your scale movement! You are doing so well on CAMAW!
Great job on identifying what was sneaking back into your daily menu. So happy you are back in your comfort zone and your goal is in sight.
You did 3 awesome days, on to day 4, you got this!

Happy Wednesday!! I feel strong and determined. I forgot my lunch yesterday, but was fine. I was home by 2 pm yesterday, so I ate then. One of the things that I notice now after my surgery is that food isn't an emergency. The former fat girl whose life was centered around food would of justified making poor food choices because I forgot my food. Being hungry isn't an emergency. I am not going to starve.
I have not weighed myself. I am going to wait until Friday morning.
My menu for today
B- 4 chicken sausage
S-chomps meat stick
L- 4 ounces shredded chicken breast with hot sauce
S-chomps
D- Trader Joes chili lime burger
Lots of water, vitamins ready and 2 cups of glorious black french roast coffee
687 calories, 3 carbs, 91 protein

Maddy you hit the nail on the head "hunger is not an emergency!" YES! I am so proud of you for living that and for the great success of forgetting your lunch and not running to a vending machine! What a win!
Great menu, that is super meaty! And look at you go with the black coffee!
You have killed it for 3 days, looking forward to what you have on deck for day 4!
Good morning!
5 months out, CAMAW
B-1/2 c full fat cottage cheese
L-Bratwurst with mustard
D-Grilled chicken 4 ounces
S-1/2 c full fat cottage cheese
Yesterday, I subbed out my planned grilled chicken for a pork chop, so the grilled chicken will be for dinner tonight. We ate out yesterday and the server was confused when I told her I didn't want any sides with my meal. My husband didn't want my extra sides and there is no sense wasting food that I won't eat. She kept saying that 2 sides come with my meal and was suggesting the best tasting ones. Just bring me a pork chop, please!
