DAY 3 - AMAW/CAMAW - post your menu here!
Thanks Daisy!! :)
My SO has bailed... He had vanilla bean cake tonight. We aren't competing, just both trying to lose a little extra weight. It's hard to come home to spaghetti noodles on the stove and watch him eat cake, but thankfully I'm not very hungry after eating some chicken ;)
I get the bacon jerky in the states for him, but I took it back for this week lol. I will get more for him next time I go. I'm trying to decide if I can squeeze in a trip this week or next. I have found so many amazing things there -- when I was in NC I was trying to scout out if they had anything different than NY, but it wasn't majorly different.

DAY 3 AMAW - Bring it!
Still no coffee this week, its been easy because I'm up so early to get to the gym, and by the time I get to work I'm so hungry I need to eat, and then a half an hour later is past coffee time for me!! LOL Did 47 mins on the treadmill this morning, will go for my 5 km walk at lunch, and walk the doggies tonight!
Day 3 - down 1.9 lbs, feeling good. Not hungry but bored so that makes it tough. and I do miss my cheese and yogurt, I like a little variety!
Anywhoooo, as MC says, only 3 days to get through, we can do this!!
B - mini bacon wrapped sirloin bites with HP sauce (not pictured)
S - 3.9 oz beef meatballs, with 1tbsp bbq sauce
L - 3.6 oz bacon wrapped sirloin, YUMMY
S - 4 slices deli turkey with mustard, no pic (that's boring)
D - mini meatloaf
Totals - Cal 806, Carbs 12, protein 101
Have a great day everyone, this week seems to be dragging, but on a good note there is some fantastic weather headed our way!!

Hello my fellow Meat Eaters!! Happy Wednesday to everyone.
I swear, every time I participate in Meat Week, I learn something new. As a lot of you know, this week's eating isn't a lot different that how I eat in general. I am pretty meticulous about weighing/measuring and tracking my intake.
The biggest change for me is that I am obviously not eating cheese, yogurt, nuts or using cream in my coffee. Really, the whole milk (1.5 T) removal has been the most noticeable for me, since I drink 5 to 6 cups a day. Adding that up, if I drink 6 cups of coffee, that's a bit more than half a cup of milk a day ... or 80 calories. I now have to weigh if it's worth 80 calories to have cream in my coffee ... and truthfully, I am starting not to mind it's absence.
Maintenance is such a precarious thing. Calories sneak in. Carbs are the sneakiest!! One hundred calories here and there can be practically nothing in volume or to "normies" -- but can make the difference in whether we lose, maintain, or re-gain once at our goal.
Years out: 3.7 years doing AMAW
Weight as of this morning: 135.1 (down 3 pounds and change)

Love that! So true and that is why I weigh myself everyday. If things are going in the wrong direction for too many days I need to reevaluate....

I need a bumper sticker on my car "Maintenance is such a precarious thing." Kat W. That is brilliant.
I know AMAW is pretty much your lifestyle anyways but love the awareness that AMAW week brings for people and the "realizations" many participants are having. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Congrats on your loss so far, I had no doubt you would kill this AMAW week.
On to day 4!

Hi Daisy and all! I have been doing CAMAW with you all but have not been posting. So I need to say I am kind of dropped out from the beginning. My son was in an ATV accident last week, and there have been a lot of follow up medical appointments and such this week.
just a drive by post to explain my absence.
best of luck!
CAMAW CAMAW rah rah rah!
