I am going to be totally honest with you. I am 4 years out. I am struggling. I thought I could bring certain foods back into my life. Joke is on me. Well not really it is called being honest with myself. I gradually brought sugar back into my life. Now it is very hard to stop. It is way better than it was. Old habits do come back. Don't test the waters. If you want to have something plan it.

I can eat everything. I don't dump. I have had incidents not sure if it was RH or not pretty positive it was and it was horrible.

Well pretty much I need to follow the protein forward diet. I am not trying to be a Debbie Downer. But taking cheat out of our vocabulary is a good way to start.

Taking away can't is a good word to get rid of also.

I am just posting since when I started out the weight just fell off. So easily. Now not as fast and I can eat a lot more than I could before.

Just be cautious of certain foods.

Since I stopped drinking booze I dropped 20 pounds like that. Then I got a false feeling in my head well I am not drinking so I can substitute sugar. Sugar is a ***** to stop.

No one has WLS because they don't know how to gain weight. In fact, I would pretty much guarantee that everyone here is an absolute expert on how to gain weight. There have been times in my life that I have gained 12 pounds literally overnight. I am sure you didn't get to your highest weight eating celery and grilled chicken breasts.

You will not convince anyone here, that you do not know how to gain weight.

You have posted many times about meeting goal, being under goal -- worried you are too thin. You are 170 pounds at 5'11" -- giving you a 23.7 BMI. That is just into the "normal" category of 24.9 and under. 25 and above is overweight. You are not too thin. You do not need to gain weight.

I am also at goal -- and have maintained a 22 or less BMI for more than 3 years now. I say this because this response does not come from sour grapes or jealousy. It comes from incredulity at your utter lack of empathy for other people -- other people who have suffered the same pain of obesity that you have.

I come here every day to give something back to other people who've also suffered this terrible affliction of obesity. Perhaps now that you have gotten to your goal, it is time for you to start giving back to others here that could use encouragement.

Also, please consider that while you've reached your goal easily that it isn't that way for everyone here. There are a lot of people posting here that are struggling -- who may not reach their goal in 8 months, 18 months -- or ever. Going on and on about how you can eat foods that none of us here should be eating is quite disingenuous at best, and humble-bragging/triggering at worst.

Asking other people suffering from obesity what foods you should cheat on? If you want ideas on how to gain weight --- go to a recipe site.

Congrats at getting to goal. Work on maintaining for the long haul and empathy for others not as fortunate as you are.
