You know... I grew up in Texas... you never know! We might be #sistersfromanothermother because you know, my dad was a wild child in Texas back in the day

To this day he won't get on FB for fear of ruining my Only Child status!

It never happened to me, but I recall that happening to one of our members. She answered, "No, I am doing crack cocaine".

What a rude jerk. I would have asked him if he had his manners surgically removed or if he was just born that way.

Try not to let his unwanted and malicious statement get to you; it's a reflection on him, not you.

I am so sorry that happened to you.

It was incredibly rude and inappropriate. I question if he wasn't jealous and passive-aggressively taking a swipe at you.

Good point. I wonder what size this person was. If he is struggling with his own weight, it was probably jealousy.

Wow! Who does that? I have been so initially shocked by someone's changed appearance, but never enough to revert to being 3-years-old. Apparently, his mother never slapped his mouth. I know people can't help themselves, and I am trying to formulate a response for when my weight loss becomes too obvious to be ignored. But I've been up and down so many times, I doubt anyone will really say anything.
I like the advice I read on here earlier today: Meet a rude question with a question like "Why do you ask?" or "Why would you ask me that?" Forces people to step back and recalculate!

On the flip side of the rude coin, I still recall the most charming inquiry I ever received:

Dr. Eden: Why, my dear Shelly, whatever happened?

Me: Why, my dear Dr. Eden, whatever do you mean?

Dr. Eden: You are but a mere shadow of your former self!
