"Birthday" tomorrow!
Tomorrow I am going in for my new birthday! This has been a long road! 2 years fighting for the referral, but then everything fell into place. I did my orientation in December 2016, three 3hr classes, meeting with Nutritionist, Behaviourist, Psychiatrist, Surgeon, Opti for 3 weeks, pre-assess - now the day has come. I am so happy and excited and READY! I do not even have fear or apprehension. Cannot wait to get back home and touch base with everyone, the new me is born June 7, 2017.
Referral: NOV/16 Info Sess: DEC/16 OptiFAST: 3wks started May 17/17 OR: RNY June 7/17

Congrats and good luck with a speedy recovery. I am now four days postop and each day seems to get better and better. Watch out for day two in may hit you like a bus but other than that it seems smooth sailing.
