What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYes?
Hi everyone... The weather here is ramping up to the usual Philadelphia heat and humidity. I'm going through lots of physical therapy. I'm even learning how tso get into bed. Hoping to build up my endurance over the summer. Now that I can get into cars I'm dying to go to the shore...or anywhere! Yesterday a friend drove me to pick up prescriptions... When I got home fell asleep for two hours. Still on soft foods see my dietician Monday. Have a great day everybody!!
Good Morning RNY Menu'ers
Hope all is well here. I'm posting late today because it jsut gets so busy here at work, but hey its better than not posting at all. The new job is a hustle, and i've got several freelance projects going on, adn to add to that, i'm in the middle of packing and moving thigns into storage, getting ready to vacate the current home and move into the new one!
QOTD: I look forward to moving into the new house! We move out of the current one June 24th, and into the new one July 12. Staying at the in-laws between time. I look forward to having the move behind me, and decorating the hell out of this new place!

QOTD: Looking forward to some WARM weather, R and R by the pool, and recovering from surgery.... 3 of the last 4 summers have involved surgery...not a good trend.
I always teach my art classes in the summer at the library... I have never done this before, but I am mentoring a fine art student for her internship for college this summer- so it works out I don't have to cancel any classes. She can paint the sample and I can talk.....
Excited you are going to see JB and Grim...what fun!
Food prepped for post-surgery today Chicken soup and 2lbs of bacon...the ultimate meaty comfort food. 2 foods to heal all your ills....
I have 4 bowls of chicken soup measured with 3oz chicken in each and a few shredded carrots. Figure that will take me Thursday through Sunday... then protein drinks, bars, jerky...etc will get me through to start...keeping it simple....

Its been a long day for me. Started out early with a TOPS meeting. Lost 1 pound this week. Left there and hit the road. I checked into hotel in New Albany, MS around 3pm. Got settled in a rested a little then went for a very late lunch/early dinner.
My summer plans, the next 10 days I will be in GA with my son, his wife, and my grand daughter. Then back to Arkansas to repack and head back to Houston where I will transfer my stuff to hubby's truck and head to Wyoming. We will be in Cody from July 1st until September 18th. While there we will take several trips to Yellowstone and day trips to places in the area as well as Red cloud, Montana. Anything to escape the Houston heat.
