Mornin' All!

It's been pretty warm here the last couple of days, but high 70s/low 80s and sunny the rest of the week - perfect!!

QOTD: not sure what all's going on this summer. I'll be in Chicago for a conference at the end of June - and Hillary Clinton is one of the speakers!! Then on the way home I'll stop by O'Hare to meet up with a good friend of mine from Turkey. She'll be in Wisconsin for the summer doing research, so we'll bus back up here together. So happy she'll be here all summer!!! First weekend in July I'm back in Chicago for a family reunion - mostly my dad's cousins & second cousins - I only know a couple of them - but looking forward to meeting some extended family members. At the end of July I was hoping to go to NC for a week to help my stepmother go through the rest of my dad's stuff, but I haven't heard back from her on whether this date is OK or not, so...??? My mom also wants to go to Vermont for a long weekend to see her brother and wants me to go with her, so maybe sometime in August?

2 years out (maintenance):

B: homemade Greek yogurt, flaxseed, raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, snickerdoodle protein shake

L: maybe another pastrami "sandwich" (pastrami, mustard, tzatziki sauce, cucumbers, Flat Out Flip-It)

S: carnitas again!

QOTD: I would say my unlimited yoga pass for the next 3 months. I was really pumped about it and it seems when I go to class not only does it help physically but does amazing things mentally for me. Also looking forward to kayaking for the first time, paddleboarding again (first time last year). This saturday I'm doing an whole day yoga with meditation sessions etc. it seems like it will be so fun.

I'm going to get an unlimited pass as soon as I use up my 20-class pass. I'm going c. 3x a week now, so it would make sense at this point to switch to an unlimited pass. Plus then I'll get to go to everything over at my studio - dharma talks, meditation, etc. I can't wait!!

Hi all! I am still in Seattle with my friend who had surgery yesterday to remove her band, in prep for RNY. She is doing very well, and I will drive her home today.

i am a CAMAW failure. It has been too difficult to manage while I am away from home. My menu is up in the air today, but I promise to make good choices I just know that I need coffee. NOW!

QOTD: my most exciting summer plan is plastics on Thursday. Yippee! I have a trip to central Oregon for a week over the 7/4 holiday, and a family reunion in late July.

Have a great day everyone. I need to find coffee!
