Yesterday was my first day and it went well, had to switch my chicken for beef in the evening. Ever since surgery I have a hard time with chicken, I think it's time to let it go for a while.
My menu for today:
B: ham & cheese roll ups, coffee with milk, fiber powder
MS: Skyer Protein yogurt
L: Beef flank steak 3oz
AS:1 turkey bite & 2 light laughing cow cheese
D: 3 oz of all beef meat balls.
lots of herbal tea.
CAL: 832 / CARB:26gr / FAT: 42gr / PROTEIN: 82gr.
I have problems even today with any type of meat that is dry. As long as the meat is moist I can eat chicken, beef, or pork, but the minute it dries out forget it.
I have started to eat something and then spit it out because it was to dry and I knew it would cause issues.
Yes- One thing I never knew pre-surgery, that I would become an occasional food spitter into my napkin... that moment when you are half way through chewing something and you are like- this will not go well if I swallow this...and you have to make a choice
