DAY 2 - AMAW/CAMAW - post your menu here!
Today's stats:
calories 578, carbs 5, protein 124.
The menu changed a bit. I forgot to put on the ribs, so I had shrimp for dinner too, notbpictured is my protein shake or turkey patties. And the photo is a top I didn't buy, but it's a the first size large I tried on and fit! Plus I've got some keto flush going on, so I thought it was relevant hahah

Your shrimp is making me drool, god that looks good!
I literally don't recognize you, you are doing so incredible! I am so proud of you Erin.
Love that top, why didn't you buy it, looks amazing on you!
Keto flush, I am going to have to google that!
Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks! I really liked it too, but the way it's cut, it was a bitsnug at the bottom, and kinda short in length, so I had a feeling every time I'd raise my arms or move much, I'd have to pull it back down. I just got the feeling I'd always be fussing with it. But it was fun. I did get a couple of other tops, slowly getting a wardrobe for summer...which is never coming?
Yeah, I'm not sure if keto flush is the right term, but I was googling around post op, and it seems pretty common in early days of being in ketosis for some people.

Glad day 1 went well Pat. And its so true when you take the time to recognize things like BLTs (Bites, Licks, Tastes) how much it adds up! Great awareness!
Your pepperoni & cheese looks yummy! I wish I liked pepperoni, I don't hate it but not a big fan.
Great stats, you are doing awesome on meat week! Trust the process the scale will drop!
I will post what I ate on day 1 because you all will be on dinner before I get back.
I ate shrimp, london broil, a piece of cheese placed on parchment and microwaved x1 minute, lots of tea, and bacon and eggs.
Day 1 down. Probably be more of the same today.
I didn't feel particularly full or hungry. The only icky moment was when I was dishing out potato salad to the boy.

You did awesome for day 1 Deb! Look at that mostly meat menu! Terrific!
Oh man I miss potato salad, my Mom makes the best ever (I am allergic to potatoes so I can't eat it).
Looking forward to tomorrow when you tell us what you ate today!

Ever make mock potato salad using cauliflower?
I know it sounds gross, but it's actually quite delicious. I even sub cauliflower for a 1/3 of the potatoes in my husband and son's "potato" salad -- and they don't even realize.

I had a friend make it and bring it to a party once. I was surprised how good it was! I don't know why I've not made it at home, come to think of it...
