DAY 2 - AMAW/CAMAW - post your menu here!
I woke up from a dream about a baby spinach salad, with strawberries, onions, goat cheese and almonds! Something I didn't expect to be craving or mourning post surgery
I'm very impressed at your coffee free morning!

There is a little farm a couple of towns over from me that make homemade cheese. Most of it is goat cheese and a few different cow cheeses. They make this blue cheese type one that is to die for. It is a semi-hard goat cheese with the blue cheese "mold" and a nutty finish. You would have to try it in order to appreciate its uniqueness.
Tastes amazing in a spinach salad.
The farm its self is in Brooklyn, CT, but I go to the Putnam farmers market on Mondays and Thursdays. I haven't been yet this year, but when I go I will let you know what they have. The blue cheese is usually in limited quantities since it takes a while to make it. They do offer other types of cheeses that are to die for.
have you had it with little goat cheese cakes that have been flash-fried so the outside is crispy and the inside still almost solid and warm all through?
Honestly, I miss having lactating goats so badly right now... I used to make fresh goat cheese twice a week.

So between my Dr apt and trying to squeeze a days worth of work into 3 hours and taking care of family, ACAW didn't even cross my mind yesterday :( I didn;t end up too bad though. The only off plan things I had were some carrots/celery and 1 dumpling from he chicken and dumplings I made for dinner last night and 2 sugar free popsicles.
That reminds me: Daisy, what is the ruling on SF popsicles? Do they count as a liquid or a food for this challenge.
Todays Menu:
B: coffee w/ premiere protein and smoked sausage
L: Smoked turkey and cheddar cheese squares
S: muscle milk light and maybe SF popsicles (pending Daisy's response )
D: RIBS mmmmmmm

WTH? What kind of southern woman doesn't like dumplings.
Something is fishy here.
Next you will tell me you don't like grits or corn bread!
