I have some straight up PTSD from pork chops when I had the band... I actually bought some this week for AMAW, and I am going to try them in the sous-vide. I will report back!

Hi Guys, Running late this morning so no pics... Rainy traffic was HELL :(

Yesterday was fine--this is how I eat 90% of the time, so no big surprises! I had office hours again all day, so I sat with a big box of candy in front of me and didn't indulge. Little wins...

B: Coffee with whole milk & Chomps Meat Stick & Babybel Cheese

S: Tuna with Balsamic

L: "Chef's salad" with no "salad" (i.e. mixed up chicken, HB Egg, Bacon & Cheese)

S: Instant Pot Crack Chicken

D: Sautee Garlic Shrimp

That's Michael's idea of a salad too. When he's feeling extra healthy...he adds two or three slices of tomato...lol.

No Candy IS a win!

I steered clear of the OPEN bag of Lays potato chips that are at my aunt's house... that's how I ended up with more pork rinds than I had planned for. But I considered it a win.

Those damn chips will be there again today... and I'm in that house ALONE... But I can forgo them until help arrives to eat them Thursday. I may hide them though.

And yes, that salad sounds wonderful, and I might make something like that after AMAW!

Morning all! So, as expected, the week's challenge for me isn't eating only meat, but drinking coffee without any milk in it. However, while I'd be lying if I said that I don't miss that creaminess -- I am actually enjoying my last few cups of coffee sans cream!! I am not sure if I will be able to maintain that feeling, but I'd really like to stop using milk/cream permanently. That will remain to be seen -- but for five days? I can do anything.

Years out: 3.7 years ... AMAW
