Hello Menu Crew!
If you are doing AMAW or CAMAW please don't post here, got to my other post below this one, thanks!
How was your weekend? Mine was good. Weekend was busy, on Saturday my husband got an appt for an MRI for his left shoulder at the hospital I work at, long story but suspected rotator cuff tear(s) (Cynthia you can appreciate this!), he has been doing Physiotherapy for 6 months and there is no relief from the pain and slight and I mean slight improvement, so its now on to MRI, then a surgical consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in shoulders. Yup hubby's years of playing baseball (since he was about 8 yrs old) has finally caught up with him! Then we went to a Thai restaurant that we have not been to for about 15 years, we used to go weekly when we were first dating and the people there remembered us, how cool is that! I got my fav, lemongrass chicken and he got his fav, basil beef. For my Toronto peeps its Green Mango in High Park West/Bloor West Village, YUM!
QOTD: Cash or debit/credit card? Do you normally carry cash around or are you a use my debit/credit card everywhere. I am a debit card girl! On my pay day every two weeks I take out $60 cash for "just in case I need cash" places, which is rare and by the next pay if I have not used the cash or whatever is left we have a secret "tash" of cash in our house that we use to buy american money for when we go down to the US.

Good morning!
Hope everyone had a good weekend. We were house hunting of course. 2 prospects so I'm really hoping this is settled soon. The landlord at the house we were so interested in kept making more demands so we decided we weren't interested. It is certainly not a tenant's market right now.
on the scale front- That stall that had me going crazy is a distant memory now! I'm down to 211.4 this morning and I can hardly take it in. 70 lbs since surgery and 83 from my highest weight. Plus- I'm almost single digits to one-derland!
Menu today:
B: Protein shake
L: Probably something from the salad bar at work. Cottage cheese which I'm actually starting to like and some chicken more than likely.
D: Leftovers! We have to clean out the fridge lol. We will be away at a church convention for 4 days (Thursday to Sunday).
Exercise: 21 Day Fix. My accountability group coach always says Never Miss a Monday and it's true!
Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family,
Sorry to hear about Arun's shoulder, Daisy.
I posted on the AMAW/CAMAW site, but couldn't miss out on the QOTD.
QOTD: I use my credit card for almost everything. The exception is I've been buying a lot of things from our local Facebook 24 hour Dollar Auction and I've gotten some amazing bargains for only $1 or $2! Then I use cash.
My menu for today:
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: hamburger patty with melted cheese
D: rib-eye steak (shared with my daughter)
S: light n fit Greek yogurt
Exercise: Walking the dogs around the subdivision.
Have a great day everyone! Even if you aren't doing Meat week this time, come over to the AMAW/CAMAW post and read the posts and see how everyone is doing. It's a lot of fun!
~ Karen

I hope all goes well with your DH investigation of shoulder issues. I have some issues with my right shoulder but I mostly ignore them. I can do most everything and it only acts up once in a while.
Our weekend was quiet after 2 weeks centered around MIL's passing. It was the first weekend in a long while when we did not go out to dinner at all, but we did plenty of that in the prior week and will be doing more during our 18 day vacation (beginning Saturday- yeah)!
QOTD: Credit card all the way. I have cards with airline miles and I use those miles (that is how I am getting to OH conference in October).
I am doing CAMAW, so this is a partial copy of my post there:
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: ham and cheddar cheese
D: Grilled chicken and mozzerella
S: cheese sticks, yogurt, coffee with vanilla protein shake (any extra shake as snack later).
Calories: 867; Protein: 121 g; carbs: 27 g

I can appreciate hubby's situation- doing Physical Therapy- better but still not right... Better to know than not know... as I said, I am too young to be old- and so is he...have to have it taken care of.
Even though I am doing CAMAW, I had to post here as well... because on Friday OH cut off 2/3 of my post and my Paris and outfit pics never showed up. :( or my menu for that matter. Love OH glitches-
My favorite pic of Maryann and I from the trip
The same day- feeling sophisticated at Lauderee
Maryann and I were just having a discussion how rompers were the worst item of clothing ever and never fit anyone right- and 30 minutes later I am buying a French Lace romper... It feels amazing on, the fit --the material. The french do fashion right...
Happy Eating this week to all the non- AMAW/CAMAW participants. Will be checking in on you too! Cheerleading goes both ways :)
