Good morning Daisy & fellow meat eaters!

I'm working days this week so I should be able to post in the morning b4 there are like a zillion menu posts.

I'm doing the critter version. My menu so far:

B Quest protein shake, 2 eggs

S Salami

L Tyson chicken breast/shrimp

D Tyson chicken breast/shrimp

S Moon cheese

I'm trying to limit the moon cheese & snack on meat instead of cheese, but oh its so good!

Moon cheese is evil because of the serving size. I could eat that whole bag... and then another one... without even blinking.

So glad you can join us T and post in the morning! Great menu! I love moon cheese too, but lucky for me I am cheap so I don't eat it much because its super expensive here! LOL

Good morning everyone!

Very excited to start my first AMAW! I did CAMAW last time, but since it really isn't a huge step for me to eat that way (when I'm really being good anyway), I decided to bite the bullet and go AMAW this time!

I would have liked to be more organized this week, but with a myriad of things going on all weekend, and it will continue into the week, I might be eating lunch meat before I get to the end of this, but damnit, I'm going to go for it!

My picture is only of what I grabbed out of the fridge on my way out the door. I do have the pot roast already made at home, so that will help!

Starting weight on AMAW this morning is 142.4... would like to see 138, but I don't know if it'll happen. Going for my maintenance weight of 135-138 sooner than later!

B: BLACK coffee... this one hurts the most

B2: Chicken leg (3 ounces of meat)

L: Fajita meat 3 ounces

S: Chicken leg (3 ounces of meat)

D: Pot roast (I planned for 4 ounces)

S: Beef Jerky/ pork rinds if they're acceptable... I am not sure if the processed part should count??? Daisy, I know you said they were OK, but not sure if that's just for CAMAW or AMAW too?

Total Stats not counting pork rinds:

1,161 Calories (Ack!)

147 Protein

7 carbs (not right because MFP is counting 6 in the beef jerky, and this jerky only has 1 per serving)

I envy your conviction to do AMAW, I know I can't live without coffee and it HAS to be "lightened". You are both strong and brave!!!!!

I was surprised at how much I DIDN'T hate it this morning.

Once upon a time I drank my coffee only sweetened... I guess I still remember how to!

Great menu Pammie! And good on you for doing black coffee, oh lord I just can't do black coffee, I did it for the last AMAW and almost died, yup died! And I consider pork rinds AMAW.

Keep up the great work, good start to day 1!

Good luck! I didn't think I could manage AMAW, but maybe next time. I do mostly eat CAMAW too when on plan (and am CAMAW for this week) but I did find Monday to be a challenge with none of my carby snacks at all! Tuesday was better on the cravings though.
