Sometimes I look at the daily menu thread and just follow someone's diet for the day.

Honestly there's no true magic wand. Keep the carbs low (especially in the PM) and consume less calories than you burn. That's it.

Google "BASAL METABOLIC RATE CALCULATOR" to see how many calories you burn just being alive.

A 500 calorie deficit per day should be around 1 pound weight loss per week

I found I have six steaks in my freezer still, from when a friend and I did a 30 day steak challenge jokingly. I will be meaty in solidarity with my RNY friends!

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Bonus steak!

I think I could eat steak for a long time. After surgery it really was the easiest protein to eat.
