Hard to believe
So my husband and I just got back from camping this weekend, and I have a ton of laundry. While folding clothes, I looked at my shorts and thought they look like doll clothes to me they are so small. I'm now a size 8. I used to have to read the tags really closely prior to surgery because my jeans were about the same size as my husbands. I am coming up on 9 months and still feel like a fat person, and when folding laundry find it hard to believe I can fit into my clothes they are so small.

It's almost surreal. My husband used to yell at the kids to keep their clothes out of our room...and they were mine!
I do the same thing!
I am wearing a size 8 too, and sometimes I pick up a pair of shorts and just shake my head... the put them on and feel fat!
WTH?!
My brain needs to catch up with those tiny shorts (even though I know an 8 isn't tiny, it is to me!)

Everytime I fold laundry I think, "Crap! Everything shrank." Then I realize only my clothes shrank, not my Guy's. Then I realize nothing shrank and I remember doing this every damn time. I chuckle and move on. It is surreal.

I get it...this weekend I FINALLY passed the hubs on the scale. I have weighed more than him from the first day we met (me: 130 him: 125). So after 36+ years I am 193 and he is 195. Whooo Hooo! I love my tool!
